Have a great day @Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) -
I couldnt seem to post in the tech section, but here goes....... What kind of service schedules do you all follow? I know theres the basic normal car stuff at what ever intervals you feel you need, oils, filters, brake fluid etc But what do you all do above and beyond? Either due from experience or known good practice? Does anyone have a comprehensive service sheet they follow? Im thinking prop bolt checks, or suspension strip and grease, wheel bearings strip and inspect, or anything else you can think of to help keep my westfield tip top! How often, time based or mileage based etc, i know alot will depend on how hard it is used too, but any schedules any of you like to follow or known things to check, i would love to hear about to help me on my way

Buying a westfield, first step, choosing the right one
MacJock replied to Rick_Alta's topic in The Start Line
Hi Alta, You've certainly got the roads and scenery for an open top Westfield. As you’ve been a S2000 owner, why not just shift directly to the Westfield Mega S2000 with the same 2.0 VTec and gear box in a circa 550kg vehicle, it’s all fun. If you want more out it, a Centrifugal supercharger is not a big upgrade cost with 350 - 400 bhp potential. Have fun -
I completely forgot to update the forum with my purchase from late Summer, was busy busy completing the build & IVA of my another fun car Having been a MegaS2000 fan after a ToyBox Andrew purchase many years ago, I had been searching for a Supercharged MegaS2000 and in particular 1 of the 7 Factory builds. I eventually managed to find one late summer 2025 that I'm sure many of you are already familiar with, it had further upgrades taking it to the next level, particularly a Sadev Box, TTV clutch & Geartronic paddles. At 355bhp, I have to admit that there was a fear in the back of my mind at the thought of being in control such a machine when I collected it After putting a number of miles in since then however, I can honestly say that the Sadev/Paddle combination is a fantastic upgrade to our Westfields and so easy to drive either in town or in"Hurry mode" The Honda VTec engine, with its linear power application and smooth rising boost with the RPM to 9000rpm, just makes this amazing to drive anywhere. Oh, don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely mind-blowingly fast acceleration when you push it and as fast in braking What a machine and can't wait to get back out to play come spring

Craigieboy replied to Martin Bell - (Bellyboy) East Anglia AO's topic in Places to Visit and Road Trips
Actually if it's not too late in the planning process, I'd suggest you include the Cairngorms in your route up if you can, you won't be disappointed. Probably some of the best roads we have up here, with some lovely long sections and a wee bit different to the West Coast. The drive up to Glenshee and then on to Braemar is amazing and you can get a move on too. If you could fit it in you'd end up at Grantown-on-Spey and then up to Nairn and across to Inverness, missing out the long slog of the A9. Oh man, bring on the Spring and the good weather..!
