Electricity bills !
Craigieboy replied to Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO's topic in Stuff & Nonsense
Read it, crazy isn't it and all the while they are trying to push us into electric cars. I would miby consider one if it was cheaper like they are in Norway. I've watched a few videos of a bunch of microlight flyers and they always know when they've crossed the border into Scotland, because the wind farms start! -

Thanks all, can't believe I've reached 30 already 😂😂 -
Hi, I’m Northwest based but will travel. is there a list of Track day venues with dates where other members go to? I’ve done a couple of them in the past few years but have never seen another Westfield. I’m looking to book soon. Thanks Damon

That's fantastic that you've been out already, just in time for the beginning of summer. For the first few miles I was listening out for strange noises and odd vibrations. I hope you don't have too many! My fuel gauge still doesn't read above 3/4 full even when full as it needs calibration. It'll never be accurate given the shape of the tank 🙂. Enjoy!
-
Good effort, especially in a Westy. As we speak, I'm looking at routes home from Como for my trip in September, but it'll probably be a night each at Strasbourg and Bruges and definitely not home in a oner! 😆
-
Its all about the driving for me too. My "record" in one day in the Westy was the final day of a European road trip. A grand total of 1171 km. Innsbruck Austria to home in the UK
-
Easy, for me that's what it's all about. 😁
-
Ouch ! I love Westfield but more than 1-1,5 hour in , starting to fell more and more away from "driving pleasure" one day 350 miles, thats over 500km !

@Martin Bell - (Bellyboy) East Anglia AO if you do the Buttertubs Pass (you should, it's possibly the best driving road in the area) please be careful on the top as there is a damaged cattle grid, it is signposted as damaged from one way but not the other, nice!. When you see the safety barrier like in this photo, you are close by Don't forget the Diamox!😁 -
I’ll jump on the “if it falls through” list behind Geoff - am in Chelmsford just off A12, so happy to meet in person!
