Not got the car any more but it was decked out with a reasonable amount of carbon (aeroscreen, cycle wings, tunnel top, dash) and had other lighter items like wilwood calipers, 13β cxr wheels, grp seats, alloy bellhousing and a lithium battery. Would have been lighter without a cage though! Got a bit heavier with me it of course π€£

Kingster - thatβs quite an impressive weight. What is your car spec and what have you stripped out to get down to that weight? -

Hi there if itβs ok Iβm going to meet you aswell in the morning and drive to far with you to see you off. -
Indeed. A mate has a β420β with a 210bhp Duratec and we were very evenly matched when it came to acceleration. So I suspect his was no lighter than mine in reality (both caged with aeroscreens)

Curborough WSCC Speed Series @ Curborough - 10am on 29th and 30th June 2024
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
Hi, This weekend sees the WSCC Speed Series at Curborough (WS13 8EJ) on both Saturday and Sunday (29th and 30th June) so it would be rude not to go along and cheer everyone on! We will be aiming to arrive by 10am both days. As normal at the Curburgring, spectators are free, you get access to the paddock and the Sprinters Rest cafe will be open. Feel free to join us as the weather looks great π -

Hi I have a 300 mm omp Alcantara steering wheel in great condition coupled up to a go race removable boss for sale. The boss mounts to a 3 bolt fixing as can be seen in the pics. I assume this can be changed to a different sort if needed. I would like Β£200 for it if you would like to collect from Tring Herts , or Β£215 posted. any questions please just ask. Thanks π

You'll need a full face helmet. Only time you'll get away with an open face is in a tin top.

Hi all, Iβm after a thermostat housi g for an 1800i zetec. Itβs the crappy old Bakelite one with screw in sensors. If anyone has one lurking then Iβd be very grateful! Thanks v m, W

That's a great illustration! Caterhams 270, 310, 420, 485 nomenclature (big word of the day π) would suggest all their cars are 500kg which simply isn't the case. -
Hi, Do I need a full-face helmet for trackdays (given it's an open-top car), or will I get away with an open-face one? Many thanks, Richard

Thanks all, now I know what to look out for. Seems hard to find some in orange but you never know π€ -
Hi, I'm trying to find the best place to take my car on its first few trackdays. I'm located in the South East. I know of tracks like Brands Hatch, Lydden Hill, Goodwood, but I was more looking for an airfield-type track with lots of run off. Do you know of any in the area? Many thanks Richard

Look like TSW from the early 90's, not sure which model.
