Hello Everyone. It’s been a few years since I was active with my Westfield Sport E and the WSCC community, 8 years in fact! My Westfield prototype Sport E, originally built in 2011, was rebuilt after a Speed Series “off” at Curborough back in 2015. However, I was unable to restart racing due to the challenges posed by the updated MUK EV tech regs. But here I am now retired and so looking to resurrect the project. I hope to update and rebuild the car with the latest tech and try and get the car to some track days later this year and maybe enter the Speed Series again next year (2027). I’m also planning to update my Sport E blog with progress. I must admit though, I’m a bit out of the loop regards EV sprint racing. Does anyone else have or race an electric Westfield?

Just took delivery of the following Pipercross filter to replace the old K&N filters that the car had on it. Managed to find one with the same dimensions as the K&Ns so I don't have to go cutting up the bonnet haha. Has not taken me long to start changing things up, only picked the car up just before xmas.

I also miss mine, but I'm not sure when it has been sent, might arrive in the next days as we are back from the holidays...

Anyone interested in attending this? Kit Cars and Modified at the Motorist on Saturday 14th March. Let me know and I'll arrange a dedicated parking area for us.

Also to add….car had its first MOT today, flew through with no advisories…emissions were absolutely spot on…

I hadnt noticed that before, but had noticed lots with the extra vents, i think its quite an early megablade or maybe it had another bonnet at some point!

Looking for a pair of full harnesses, red or black.

Thats a very unusual v8 bonnet on a megablade too not have the 2x vents on the top Of course i have seen that style of very early v8 before just never on a mega bec thought they had stopped making them by this point
