Not registered on Q plate until 2007 this Pinto engined black gelcoat 1992 kit was orignally used as a track day vehicle. It was put through a hedge in 2009 and again in 2012... this time it was stripped for repair. Replacement front (Cortina) wishbones were acquired but the car was never rebuilt. All parts other than bushes and a few bushes, nuts and bolts appear to be present. However, although the car comes with both motor cycle and clamshell front wings together with bonnet and nosecone, all require various repairs of f/glass repair. Car has 5 spd type 9 box. 2.0 litre Pinto engine had been removed and turns but overall condition is unknown. Removed but included are a pair of 40DCOES on mainfold as well as exhaust system. Car has two sets of alloys and road legal track day tyres. Car can be viewed on Worcestershire/Shropshire border by appointment. Price is a negotiable £2300.

I’ve lifted the Westfield Aerorace up to start preparing it for making it (sort of) road legal It’s going to need quite a few meters of wiring for the lights, plus lights themselves, a handbrake, horn, fenders, and so on... While I’m at it, I’ll change the oil in the gearbox and diff, and maybe modify the cooling system with a bypass. Damn, there’s quite a lot to do — hope the winter will be long enough! -

I always wonder who thought that bartery in front of the car is a good idea? Weight distribution, acess, water splash.. worst place for bartery in car . - Today

"Speedograph Richfield Ltd Sat, Sep 27, 1:02 AM to me Attn David. I am sorry but I am retiring and closing the business . I regret we cannot supply any of these anymore. I am sorry about this. Regards Tim" Seems they are on the way out of business. Similarly I did try SpeedyCables as they show up as having them with a listing on Facebook and similarly they don't have them any longer. I will give Europa Spares a try. thanks -

I believe this registration is on a baby blue Porsche Stockport way. Noticed it today. Unless I dreamt it. 😇 -

Relocated my battery from the nose, where it was getting dripped on, to the scuttle. Fortunately, a new intake plenum had just freed up some space. -

Replaced the top radiator hose that was dripping onto my battery with a new one. Took the opportunity to change the old coolant of unknown vintage for fresh. -

Junked the nasty Westfield plenum and constructed my own with silicone and aluminium pipe. Reused the original K&N. It's tight but it does fit under the bonnet. -

Europa Spares offer one, but the price… ouch! https://www.europaspares.com/angle_drive_for_ford_gearbox_cable_number_end_30_m18 Speedograph Richfield used to be a good source, but their website isn’t working well - an email or phone call would be in order: https://www.speedograph-richfield.com Speedy Cables are good people, worth contacting: https://www.speedycables.com Good luck! -

My SEIW Westfield is getting an interior refresh over the winter. My current setup has the cable going directly from the transmission (plate and circlip style) to the back of the speedometer. This is not ideal as the carpet causes the cable to make some unnatural bends that it seems unhappy about. I need an angle drive to solve this but of course I am not easily finding them on the interwebs. If you can help please make contact and we can work something out.

After a few years overseas I’ve returned to UK to finish off my FW SE. All parts accounted for except for the loom that connects the DASH2 to the standard loom. Please let me know if you have one that you’d be willing to let go, or where I can source one. cheers in advance!

I’ve confirmed the numbers so if there are any more latecomers, this has to be at the discretion of the venue.
