Help and advice required - accident damage

From your postcode I’m guessing you’re not too far from Woodbridge. If so get yourself down to the marina or also Fox’s in Ipswich and they’ll be someone there that normally makes the fibreglass repairs to boats. Slightly further for you but Peter Clarke’s on West Mersea would be my choice. - Today

Hmm colour blind maybe 🤔

If you do go down the repair route then use a bodyshop that specializes in fibreglass repairs alot of repair shops will just skim with bondo paint and it will look pretty just long enough for you to pay the bill.

Congratulations Gareth Hope to see you at Malvern Andy

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate accident. Bodywork is a tricky one. You may be lucky finding second hand but more likely to go with carbon replacement. Calling @Rednop1 Good luck Andy -
And at the same time proving that blue cars are faster than orange ones I see.... D

Just joined up to the forum. Have owned my megablade for yonks and recently put it in a hedge. I’m not at all familiar with repairs on grp so just wondered if anyone can give advice on repair versus new (rear wing mainly). I found a guy who does mobile repairs and after sharing pics he said it was repairable. Didn’t ask about painting so need to ask him. Need a new nose cone as well but this looks like a repair might be fruitless so hoping to find a second hand one. I’m a total numpty when it comes to the car and build. I bought it built so really don’t know much about it - I just love driving it. Hooping there might be some help and advice for me here. Car is Suffolk based. Not far from Ipswich (ip13 postcode). Appreciate any help or direction Thanks

@ianaliare you sure it’s not ‘your’ dog because you feed and walk it more than your daughter 🤣 -

The numbers are our estimate of attendance. We’re lucky if we get one on the Friday. A few years ago tickets were free for those on the club stand but now we have to pay. This has definitely had a detrimental affect on the event in general. I’ll have a word with Nigel, see if he’s free that weekend. -
Hi Andy yes all good thank you. A married man now! Linda and I went to St Lucia just the two of us. Absolutely fantastic. Shame about the Westy only 3k miles in 5 years….i regret selling it when I did, but there we are- the unpredictable aspect of renovating old buildings! see you at Malvern? all best, Gareth

Yeah, ChatGPT can do a phenomenal job, knowing what Wallace, Gromit and a Westfield are and doing a great rendition of them even down to the reflections in the bonnet. But then it totally fails to 'understand' that a windscreen surround would have glass in it or a steering wheel needs to be able to turn. D

Look where his steering wheel is! 🤣🤣🤣
