Ford type 9 gearbox input shaft wanted one inch x 23 teeth. For use as a clutch alignment tool for a twin plate race clutch so condition of the other end not important

Welcome to the forum Bob. When I first got my Westfield back in 2019 I stored it in a container for 9 months before we built the garage at home. There was loads of space. Easy to get in and out, to store other things, and to work on the car. The container was in a complex of containers where quite a few people stored cars, there was quite a community on a Sunday afternoon! The owner had sealed the containers and installed dehumidifiers so it was dry. Ramps were needed to get the car in and out due to a Westfield being very low and the container being slightly of the ground. The only issue I had was the smell... Whilst I could push the car out, to get it in the container, as it was raised, I drove it in. Then shut the container doors and left it for a week or so until I went back. This trapped exhaust fumes in the sealed container, which soaked into everything including the seats, carpet etc. After moving the car to my home garage, it took quite a while for the smell to go. (Or reduce to a more acceptable level, all Westfields will smell a little more oily / fumey then a modern tintop)

Give it time, I’ve got faith in your ability to eventually get booted! 👍 Personally, I’m aiming to be the first Life Member to get banned. It’s a matter of timing of course, needs to be when lots of members are here to appreciate it! -

Should be OK, just machined for the ABS sensor.

Thanks for the tag. They aren't the same as mine, mine don't have the gears at the CV joint end. Possibly compatible but I don't know.

Hi, welcome! The usual great advice, so far! It's amazing just how much room can be found in the (now standard) wide body Westfield. (SEiW, or SEW in the old Westfield model names, though FW models are also wide body models, too.) You have a great budget, and while it's harder getting to see different examples at this time of year, it is - for the usual weather reasons, the "best" time of year to buy, price wise, as they're always a little softer priced over Autumn/Winter. -

Howden, Lancaster, AiB, all are sponsors or Traders in the WSCC, all understand kit cars, give good service (that sometimes includes beneficial rates to members) and are recommended. -

I've always used @Howden Insurance - Specialist Vehicle. The Thatcham branch is the most clued up on kit cars. Other companies are available. -

Hi and welcome! You have a decent budget, you'll find a number of nice cars about at that price. In terms of you fitting in one, the wide body Westfield is actually very accommodating and just about the largest of the "sevens" for interior space. I'm 6ft5 and "big boned" and have no issues, especially with lowered floors. -

I have details of Andy's funeral, if anyone is able to attend, please message me and I'll pass on the details. Thank you, Robin. -
I am putting together a game where you have to guess which guest it is from a cryptic clue. You don't have to join in - if you don't submit a cryptic clue about yourself I will assume you don't want to be included. I would like each person who does want to join in to send me via PM a short (as I will have to read them out) clue about yourself - it can be vastly exaggerated, something you've done in the past or achieved, or a funny fact. Hopefully something that you are willing to let others know and not many already know. Something like - This person was responsible for the biggest power cut in peacetime on Jersey - and the answer is obviously Ian Kinder so he can't use this clue! or This person helped put Diana Princess of Wales wedding dress on the mannequin for the exhibition to celebrate her life held at Althorp - and the answer is me so I'll have to think of another clue for the day.............. or this person put brake fluid over their cheating partners car These examples are not really as funny as I'd like them but I look forward to getting your replies!!
