Please help identify my brakes
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to Dan1501's topic in The Start Line
They look like Westfield branded Hi-Spec items. Hispec pads best to take a wheel off, drop the pads out and have a measure. I’ve got to ask , what’s going on with your brakes hoses covered in tape ? -
Please could I take the lamps. PM sent.

No need for a new set up, somebody on here will know.

Aware this is a thread resurrection post, but I have an unused black Pro Alloy tank available... I bought it to fit my Seight, but there's just not enough space in my engine bay which has the older recessed scuttle - everything seems to have been fitted around the original Ford tank (GEMS ecu, methanol injection pump, methanol alloy tank etc etc) so any variation to the original dimensions just wasn't going to work. Gutted that it doesn't work, but I have now become an expert in acquiring and cleaning-up original header tanks! Any interest please send a PM.

As above, I can’t work out what brakes I have fitted on the front of my Westfield. They’re a solid disc, Can anyone please identify what they are so I can order some new brake pads, or if I need to, order a new brake setup Thankyou all

Im either blind or its not stated in the manual, in the Megabusa manual it tells the torque for attaching the front flange to the sprocket output of the engine, I'd assume it has to be similar 105 ftlbs?

Visit to Avro Heritage Museum at Woodford, Cheshire and Vulcan Photo Op. Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
I didn't want to post before the Warwickshire Trip had taken place, so as not to confuse matters! A few members that couldn't make it to the Wellesbourne museum asked if there was any chance of visiting the Woodford Vulcan, instead, so here we are!! As ever, numbers are limited and I need to confirm with them as soon as possible. So please let me know if you'd like to come. They open at 10am, which is when I suggest we meet. Our slot is from 10.30am. "The Avro Heritage Museum warmly welcomes visiting car clubs during the summer season. As part of the visit, car club members get the opportunity to take a group photograph of the vehicles alongside our Vulcan bomber, the only white example of its type in the world. Car club members are charged standard admission prices (£9) plus an additional £3 per vehicle for the Vulcan photoshoot experience. Cockpit tours can also be booked on the day (subject to availability). There is a cafe on site, too, plus experienced museum "floor-walkers" to answer questions etc. How to get there.-

The WSCC SORN under Hammie's name means they're no longer a member, I'm afraid, sowon't be able to reply, even if they did happen to see the question. (They've not been on here since August 2025, according to their profile).

Hi, Ideally yes as that is what's fitted, however I don't actually have an anti-roll bar fitted so a standard one would get me out of trouble as well. Thanks for looking. -
