I was actually looking at the kits for that the other day; they're not that expensive or hard to fit. I find that the gear lever really gets in the way. I'm not surprised that other manufacturers put them under the dash. Mind you, I've an awful lot of jobs to get through before I could justifiably spend time faffing about with that. The engine looks like madza /ford 2.0 Lf engine to me also used in some volvo's which is basically a duratec engine but i have been known to be wrong . Good move i think by the factory to get away from those ecoboost /turbo engines get back to a nice simple n/a -

Would have benefitted from a matching orange stripe on bonnet and nose … IMO… just saying! I’m sure you would agree @aeg -

I couldn't take too many really close up photos, but the "custom-built for us" engine is based on a 2L Duratec, unless I'm mistaken? I don't know who the tuner is, as the chap I was speaking to wouldn't say. Which is fair enough from my point of view. The new XI is reported as being 25% done, and is currently off being dressed in its aluminium body! It very much sounds like Westfield are looking at going up market...... No idea on pricing as yet. -

Their custom produced engine could well be a duratec with custom manifolds and cams. Maybe a bit of porting. That's not a criticism, by the way, it'd be a sensible way to do it. -

Any word on pricing? In a world where an M3 now costs £100k and you can spend £65k + on a Cateringvan, it will be interesting to see how much these are pitched at. That interior is gorgeous and certainly makes it look classy and expensive, and those seats are 🥰 -
