@Westfield Chesil Limited what’s the plan for a vehicle requiring an IVA? Do there lamps have reflectors to meet the IVA requirements given the original inner lamp pair were reflectors ? MOT requirements are less stringent, but you still need rigid reflectors to pass.

Well popped down a deposit on a nice Blue Q plate at Toybox Cars... Went with a Ford RS2000 Pinto as I wanted something that was super easy to work on and lots of parts available and not going to cost the world for upgrades when I do want to play around with it a bit Think it will be a good first Westfield. Just waiting on them to finish up some work so I can go give it a test drive.. but they have done a great job on it and looks awesome.. So signed up as a full member here as well.

Yeah, for light fittings not designed to go on the back of a trailer or commercial vehicle, that's pretty good.

That’s actually cheap compared to the lights on my Lotus - rears are £1360 +vat a set and fronts are over £1k each +vat.

That probably rules out what I had in mind then, sadly. East Yorkshire Retrofits do some great products and installations for VAG products. Good luck whatever path you choose!

My car is an Octavia 1.4 TSI mark two 2009 facelift model There is a tow bar with a large 5mm thick aluminium protection plate behind and I think a camera could be mounted behind this if a vision hole was made though the plate.

Better start saving if you want some!

For sale is a New Westfield propshaft from madza 5 gearbox to mazda lsd New mazda lsd 2x Westfield bespoke mazda output shafts Top and bottom westfield mazda diff brackets This package with the prophaft was fitted to the 250 ecoboost car but with a small mod to the end of the prop could fit zetec honda This package from westfield would cost you around £3400 and thats if they have them in stock . £1500 Collection only !

What year and mark Octavia do you have?

I want to buy a reversing camera for use in my Skoda Octavia and would like your comments and suggestions please. As I understanding is that there are wired and wireless ones and that wired ones give better picture quality. Some cameras have active guide lines which show the predicted car path. The display can be in the rear view mirror or a separate screen on the car's dash panel. The price range is from £15 to £500 so what are good value for money ones?? Mal

Appreciate your comments. When we went to The Crispin, there were 30 people. This year at The Bentley Brook there were only 20. This may account for the feeling of ‘cosiness’ at The Crispin. Having said that, I feel that the catering at The Crispin was at their maximum making it a real push for them to deliver the food to the expected quality, temperature etc and The Bentley Brook can easily cope as they do weddings etc with considerably more attendees and I thought the food was good. Parking is an issue with The Crispin. Maybe I should try and find somewhere similar to the Bentley Brook with regards to being able to cater for large numbers - with a suitable sized car park!

Looking for a yoke for my propshaft, the type like in the picture below (picture not mine) , from , but preferably new (or at least showing no signs of use around the seal area). Also, not the HD version (can’t fit HD under the gearlever extension)

Like Ian has already stated it’s about have a good time with like minded people. From what can recall the Crispin was a squeeze and I struggled to part due to having a very little car park, but would still attend if that’s was the venue of choice. Thank you Andrew and Clare for your time and efforts in organising a great Christmas dinner. 👍
