The bubble I am using is great keeps everything nice and dry during the winter months, but yeah a bit of pain to turn off unzip right around the car then getting back in need to alight it up right so you can zip it all back up.. was looking for something a bit quick for the summer so did not have to worry about it.. but yeah that one you linked looks decent as well .

For Sale: BG Racing Steering Wheel Quick Release weld-on - 6 point 5/8" shaft (BGR703)
sideways_stu posted a topic in Parts for Sale
Spare QR boss and 5/8" weld-on shaft - this is the round boss with 6x70mm and 6x74mm PCD for steering wheels bolt holes - I used the boss for about 3 months before switching to a 3x50.8mm PCD steering wheel so there are fitting marks on the black boss but otherwise perfect and the shaft has never been used. Width: 85mm Depth: 90mm Weight: 0.34kg Shaft Diameter: BGR703: 5/8" New retail is £150, looking for £100 inc shipping or £95 collected (just south of Coventry or at a sprint etc by arrangement). Thanks Stuart . -
I might get an indoor bubble for inside the tent for next winter when driving is at its minimum, but the drive in drive out facility of the tent as is is bliss. This comment is coming from previously just having a cover which couldn't easily be put on if the exhaust was hot.

I have one of these. It's just about big enough and is the biggest could fit in to my situation but a bit damp/condensaty in the winter. I could run a dehumidifier in the winter but the back 1/4 is on unsealed ground so I don't think it'd be much help. Or maybe just quite inefficient. https://www.houseoftents.co.uk/portable-garage/67835.html Very sturdy though, totally unaffected by the high winds these last two years, and there's enough room to work around the car as well, including lifting th engine out with a crane.

Hi all During the Winter months I use an In The Garage outside Car bubble to keep my Westfield nice and safe seems do be doing a great job so far. But wanted to change to something else for the summer as its a bit of a pain to keep getting in and out of the bubble.. Was thinking one of those folding car tents But wanted to see what everyone else uses.. well those people that don't have access to a proper garage anyway haha

2008 Duratec Westfield, auction on PH
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) replied to Mark19691's topic in External Adverts
Interesting; it does have one, (at least) significant red flag for me; it's got the notorious in-board front anti roll bar, commonly referred to as the chassis-breaker, round these parts. Fingers crossed the mileage is low enough it can be removed before damage occurs.... -
Yeh, very cheap for a Duratec car

I’ve been chasing an oil leak that I’d finally whittled down to either the rear main seal (RMS) or the gearbox input shaft seal. I decided to tackle the fix in my own garage for the first time. To make it work, I bought a new low-profile engine hoist that allowed me to drive the car over the legs; this meant I could push the car in and out of the garage to create the space I needed. I managed to get the engine out and back in within a day. Admittedly, the dry sump makes the job slightly more complex, but I bought some AN12 and AN10 caps so I could seal the pipework and pull the tank out while it was still full of oil. Once I pulled the flywheel to check the RMS, it actually looked perfectly dry. The front end of the gearbox, however, didn’t look quite so good! -
Anyone fancy a drive out to Oulton Park Saturday, late am/early pm weather looks good. BMW track day, Coffee, chat, Ogle eachothers cars, mooch around the pit and paddock area. I'm planning being there from around 10:30 ish.

Went to Bedford today for trackday and the tab on the LH wing stay snapped off. Anyone willing to sell me one? I had to get creative with cable ties
