Road going Hillclimb Requirements.
Two7 replied to Steve G.'s topic in 7s Speed Series / Hill Climbing / Racing
It will be good to see you there. My westfield is more or less bog standard so you can see what is required with respect to rules. Double spring on throttle, wheel studs thread showing on wheel nuts , yellow tape on battery earth, little sticker showing off direction for ignition key, yellow tape or sticker showing tow point front and rear, timing strut, mot, tax, insurance and number plates. Roll hoop with bracing as minimum, height of hoop must be such that line from top of engine to hoop top would go over your head and your head can't touch the hoop. Hoop has to be specific diameter and thickness and welded. Seat belts have to pass mot. -
I wonder how many of us are westy and tvr owners? 2 westy and 2 tvr family here !ππ

Wanted: set of carpets in black for SEiW
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman replied to RickRack's topic in Parts Wanted
You do. There are different chassis for different gearboxes, so a Type 9 chassis has a narrow tunnel and wide footwells, while an MT75 chassis has a wider tunnel and one wide, one narrow footwell and SEiGHT and Mega S2000/Sport 250 chassis, (though not the same), have even wider tunnels and two narrow footwells. This width variation hits pretty much every piece in the carpet set, too, rear bulkhead included. -

Willans 3 Point Westfield Harness - Red - Β£40
basford replied to CoastalCoops's topic in Parts for Sale
Hi still got them, if so can I take them. Thanks Martin -
Red 3 point harness suited for Westfield cars. No damage only general marks for use over the years. The buckle works well, not stiff or anything. It's been in regular use until a few months back where I swapped it out as I had non-matching harnesses in my car. Collection from Hailsham, or can post for Β£5

Thanks

Not 100% sure as I never bothered with carpets, but might need to say what width tunnel you have as that varied over the years π

It does indeed MrK. -
Thought I'd follow up on this, as I prepared one of the connectors I was alluding to today. 2 jubilee clips each side so the outer ones can clamp the split hose, which is parted at the point of failure. This connector suits 16mm / 5/8" ID hose.
