Seeing as you asked so nicely… Some dusky mood lighting (it’s green, honest) and the (not so) oily bits.

Seconded! That looks like a proper beast 👍

That looks totally unhinged.... I love it!

Hi all, new member and owner here! After much deliberating and procrastination, I have finally decided to stop all that nonsense and take the plunge into Westfield ownership... with both feet, at the deep end. Someone had to...! I'm now the proud owner of a very pretty Seight in Westfield Racing Green, which comes with some interesting legacy and may well be known to a few members. The 4.6 rover V8 EFI topped with supercharger runs hot and raucous, despite methanol cooling on boost. Delightfully terrifying. The build is superb and the previous owner had it meticulously prepared after 10 years of ownership and personalisation. A couple of small gremlins sorted already and she's back on the road. I will have one or two small things to change in the near term and I may have to swap out the original sports seats for something more accommodating of my 6'4" frame, but for now it's time to enjoy. More to come.

Thanks, sound advice. I understand that the rule of thumb is to reject the first offer. Indeed the member of staff i spoke to on Tuesday, went over rejecting it too, so they must be expecting it.

Any MG Midget based early Westfield Sevens still out there?

Responded to your PM with some info on that front. -
My personal experience with writing off a tin top or two is that the offer might be low. Don't be afraid to reject the offer if it doesn't match your expectations. Reject it politely and firmly, explaining in detail (include evidence of the sale price of other Westfields of similar age and equipment levels) why you think the valuation is too low in your opinion, and tell them to go back and reconsider, then contact you back.
-
Fingers crossed they give you a good offer and don't mess you around mate.
-
Still waiting for an offer, hopefully in the next few days.
-
Have they made you a sensible offer or are you still talking to them? D

I bought my Impreza whilst still in Japan if that counts!!!!! 50% payment upfront and the balance before the boat sailed - payment into a Latvian Bank Account too..... Sound unbelievably stupid / naive, but I did my research and it all checked out, so took the gamble and never regretted it. Older now and PROBABLY wouldn't do it again...! Mart.

it’s a very very early, Westfield Seven, and one of the earliest they produced, likely around 1985. Most of the early cars adopted Ford components but the earliest instead used BMC running gear. The bubble rear arches I’ve only ever seen on one other Westfield before as all the later cars had the square arches fitted. quite a find -
I haven't had a chance to properly re-list this but it's still for sale. Been out a few times but sadly spending too long sat in the garage. I really need the garage space now to store building materials for a house renovation. The trailer mentioned above has now gone. It's booked in for MOT so will have a full year on it when sold.

A nice photo from the London to Brighton run. The photographer was lying down on the grass verge by the side of the road all day!

That can only be one of 132 made Westfield Seven, the first model produced by Westfield. Not sure any document exists for such car...
