Due to an increasing Labrador family, and hence the need to have a ‘practical’ 2nd car, I have had to make the painful decision to part with my much-loved Westfield. This is a factory-built car that I bought through Westfield as a 2nd owner. Vehicle registered new in 2001, I purchased in 2003 and it has been with me ever since. Jenvey / Dunnell engine upgrades all undertaken by Noble Motorsports at Chesterfield. Rolling road results (Northampton Motorsport) gave 187 BHP with the original ‘restrictive’ Westfield exhaust manifold fitted; this has since been upgraded to the Dunnell manifold (new BHP and Torque figures unknown!) Mileage is genuine and only 19,672 (full record of all MOT’s, receipts, etc) Most recent MOT undertaken in July ’25 (no advisory’s) along with full wheel alignment geometry checks / adjustments undertaken by Track Torque (Tockwith), along with rear wheel bearing replacements. This car has been meticulously maintained throughout my ownership, as demonstrated by the specification below. The bodywork has some crazing in the fibreglass as you’d expect for a Westfield of this age. Don’t really want to sell, but given I’m going to have to, I’d like it to stay within the WSCC if possible. £12,800 ono The car is located near York. This cracking little tool kit from (spit) Halfords. Nice and thin to fit behind a seat and room for some extras like fuses and more zip ties.

We'll will be there weather permitting 😁 and that our daughter and boyfriend aren't to late getting back from Sri Lanka 🤞

As @Rusty Nuts says, the Curborough guys are great. I did one of the "Introduction to Sprinting" sessions there a couple of years ago. Very informative and enjoyable, I had some laps as a passenger in the instructors stripped Clio 182 before taking him out in my Westfield to get some tips. There's always help on here too, for instance @Alex Gaskin volunteered (well, maybe I nagged him a little!) to give me a few pointers round Donington which was brilliant as he is a very competitive driver in the Sprint Series. The circuit was damp and I was on semi slicks but it was really useful to get his feedback on my driving (although I did take him for a trip to the very scenic beach at Coppice at one point 😂😂).

That is what I was doing Hedley and it doesn't work anymore for me. It used to which is weird. I found another way though so all is good.

I'll have a look at them, thanks. For upgraded parts, I tend to mainly use Tegiwa although have just bought a titanium VTEC pressure switch delete from Exo Racing as my current switch (not used on our standalone ECU's) has started to weep.... I've also got a VTEC solenoid seal kit on the way as I may as well change that while I'm under the bonnet with my hammers 😂

Otherwise there is the Warwick track day at Curborough I think mentioned by Martyn - this is a very friendly well organised day, can recommend as have attended many times.
