Hi Folks! Hope all are well. I posted on the Facebook group earlier, but it got removed as sales are not allowed (naughty ex-Chairman😁) however, I was not selling, I was looking to give away in exchange for a donation to the WSCC charity - hey ho... My intent to post here is now the only place you'll see this, so please do spread the word. I have had a shed clear-out and as a result have a box of Westfield bits including: MT75 clutch cables MT75 clutch bearing Walker St. Clair cover WSCC Roll bar flag OPM Steering wheel HT leads Rubber trim/edging Aero Dynamix beanie Oil filter Brake pads SAE 90 oils Crank sensor Brake lines Keyrings ETC... Most are mine, but I suspect a few bits are long-forgotten items from Autojumbles of years past. If anyone wants anything specific, I'd be happy to separate from the job lot, however, I'm more interested in shifting the whole lot to someone or to an area, or to put it up for sale at the next Autojumble. I'd want to see evidence of a generous donation to the WSCC charity in exchange, and they'll need collecting (or I can deliver locally to EN5 3EA). Thanks very much!

PX55 BWW - 2.0 duratec Sei - regrettable sale £11950 offers considered
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman replied to Xbiker's topic in Westfields for Sale
Yeah, very true. I’ve driven the car both before and after the box was swapped; it was always a beautifully balanced Westfield, but while the MTC75 it had before was OK, the Tracsport box really transformed the driving experience for the better. Brilliant car for someone, and like @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO said, many happy moments have been spent exploring the twisty roads with @Greenstreak-Andy D at the helm, both in this country and in Europe, where it performed superbly. Really hope it stays in the Club, but whoever gets it will get a bargain and an absolute cracker of a car. -

I am gutted to have to sell - took me ages to get enough credits together and then find the right one. Thanks for the positive comments, thank you to Andy for tips about the car last year and to Toybox for help with the Cat exhaust. -
It may have a lot of power but you’d loose it at every corner 🏎️

That’s a great price for a Duratec on itb’s that has 210bhp and a Tracsport (proper) gearbox. Won’t hang around for long. -

Steve, Your not far away so come to Gurston hill climb next weekend, there will be a variety of Westfields there and also the MSA scrutineers who are very helpful. Dave -
New owner - what advice would you give to yourself back when you were first starting out?
ariches replied to ariches's topic in The Start Line
Yes definitely. I'm in Dorset and have already had a look through on here and seen there is a Dorset monthly meet so will definitely go along as soon as I can! -

Just read the bit about a cage can be fitted as long as it doesn't pick up suspension mounting points. Perhaps I need to keep a look out for a better roll hoop. Thanks. -

Haha plenty of expletives prepared and ready to deploy. And I don't have to worry about the missus, seeing as I'm the one with the car and the husband is the one that's got to put up with it / me 😉 😄 Thankfully he's happy to do so (and is building me a car port currently to store it haha) -

Yes you can still enter as road going if you have a full cage, it's just extra safety and as to your harnesses it would be to big a job to get the extra bosses welded into the chassis box section. -

I started reading the regs and remember why I thought to ask on here first ! I wasn't sure a Westfield actually classed as a standard road car but they fit in the Road Cars - Specialist Production Cars category. Thanks for the link to the regs I will have a read. A friend sent a link saying there were some spaces available at Gurston Driving school and it got me thinking. -

Good luck with the sale. I've travelled with this car extensively in the UK and overseas. It's totally reliable and was fastidiously maintained by @Greenstreak-Andy D . You can see it here in the Alps in 2019- -

Hi Nick, thank for explaining. The bar I have has got a diagonal bar fitted but I don't know what sort of spec it is. The belts I have look like a 4 point harness but have a single top fixing. The chassis I have was made like this so I would have to fit extra mounts to fi a proper 4 point harness. If I fitted a better cage, say a current caged one would the car still be classed as a road car ? -
