Mole started following HDPE welding
-
Does any one have any experience with HDPE welding. I have a damaged hdpe fuel tank of a ride on mower that has been punctured in a difficult to get to place. I haven't been able to find anyone to repair it locally.. now looking further afield but have also considered buying the kit online to do myself. Trouble is it is not easy to get to the hole to fill over it and the material is thin.. so not a good first job. So if anyone is experienced I would be open to suggestions.

Well I'm no mechanic so it's just as well that the knowledge base on here is absolutely astonishing! I don't think I've ever seen a post with questions that has not been answered and solved, usually within hours!

@Nick Algar - Competition Secretary you still got that spare one in the garage?

So I’m now a fully fledged member! Can I get some pointers on navigating the forum, I really need to find out what clutch set up this has I’m on the understanding it’s a sierra friction plate and release bearing with a Toyota pressure plate? also what gearbox oil should I use (type 9) I’m looking at millers 75/80 fully synthetic its for a sierra lsd diff and I’m looking at millers 75/90 fully synthetic which states it’s ok for LSD im also a big fan of millers motorsport oils used them in previous vehicles with zero issues and noticeable improvements just want to get it back up to a good standard where I know exactly where it is! many thanks!!

Westfield black doors - lowered price
Naranja_Al replied to Steve Bosworth's topic in Parts for Sale
Just check they will fit your car. @Steve Bosworth are these Sport 250 doors? If they are the windscreen rake is different to a ‘standard’ ZK/FW car. -

Futura kit cars, official opening.
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO replied to Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO's topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
I've been talking to Futura about the open day, and they have suggested that we arrive there around half past 10, so there will be food left! That means an earlier start. We will meet at The Buffers, Rakehill Road, Scholes, LS15 4AL at 9:30, leaving at quarter to 10. It's around 45 minutes to Easingwold. We will go straight along the A64 and off at the York ring road. Sorry about the early start. See you Sunday. -
I didn’t realise the forum was this lively!

Welcome! The 4AGE is a brilliant engine, Silva/RAW used them to great effect in the Striker. You'll get loads of help on here. There's also a good YouTube channel called Tea N'Bizz-Kits featuring Bizzle and his supercharged 4AGE Striker. We met him at Newark last year -

Quick search for 4AGE turned up a couple of threads 1) Looks like there was a previous for sale advert for your chassis back in 2023, with photos showing how straight it all is. Not sure if the rebuild of the car is on the forum somewhere, but judging by the appearance of it it now, and all of the parts used then someone spent a lot of time, effort and money on it There’s also a thread discussing oil grade for the 4AGE here. It is quite old but might be of use to you -
Ferodo DS2500 pads.
Burgerbob replied to John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO's topic in Parts for Sale
Hi, if you're ok to post, I'll take these? If so, please drop me a PM with payment details. I'm overseas at the moment so it may take me a couple of days to send the cash if that's ok. -
Hi all, I'm looking for a new project, and I'm planning on building a race car. As such I'm looking for a chassis / rolling chassis / old race car / unfinished project / car in need of some work etc. As you can tell I'm pretty open to any options!!! Given it's going to be a race car it doesn't need a V5 etc... Please message me if you have something that could work. Cheers Richard

Hi, thankyou! I’m over the moon with it! always wanted one, and yes this is the original thread which I found and safe to say I was blown away by the spec list as the owner I bought it from knew nothing…. havent had a chance to get stuck in driving it properly as the clutch is slipping, and I want to do a full service with all fluids and timing belt before I go crazy. Which is where the questions come in, I don’t know what parts or fluids to use regards rich
