Expanding foam seat…. Done!
Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset replied to Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset's topic in The Start Line
If you mean this effect? ….. The red circled part is actually a foam pad worked into the seat as the foam filled around there, but left a big hole. The blue curved channel is the gap between the pad and the expanding foam which fill up the outer side against the wheel arch, not a reflection of my spine shape! I’m aware it’s a long way from perfect, and may try again at some point but it’s a lot better than just sitting on my cushion! I don’t need all the padding to the tunnel side as the car is just used on the road and my harness holds me very snuggly. -

🫣 you may have to explain this so I understand! I think there was plenty of foam and the seat is quite comfy. I suspect that it is more an effect of, er hmm, ‘back fat’ than severe spinal problems although my spine is a bit b*gg*red as my lower disks are completely non existent now, spine effectively fused. I’m pretty snug in the car, and with a six point harness I don’t move anywhere! -
Also btw, Yanosik has around 200,000 users I believe? Radarbot has 50 million so is updated quite often.
-
Pretty sure Radarbot does the same or something very similar. I've both added speed traps myself and had ones no longer there removed. Here the police can't just set up where they want anyway, all the spots they use for radar traps are published online and have all already been programmed into Radarbot by users. Also of course Radarbot is in English which is handy for me as I can't speak or read Polish 😂

Road going Hillclimb Requirements.
Steve G. replied to Steve G.'s topic in 7s Speed Series / Hill Climbing / Racing
Limited runs is the only downside really. I watched at Gurston and I think the quickest drivers got 4 runs in total. I'd like to take the Westfield to the driving school but it isn't running very well at the moment. The alternative would be my Volvo 940 or our newish Corsa, both fun but not ideal really. -

Road going Hillclimb Requirements.
Mighty Mart replied to Steve G.'s topic in 7s Speed Series / Hill Climbing / Racing
@Steve G. I did the Gurston School a few years back and can thoroughly recommend it. As long as the car is road legal and MOT'd, you are good to go, and it gives you a VERY good idea of whats involved, plus VERY good value, as the amount of runs you potentially get in the day is probably more than you would get as a competitor over a whole weekend of racing! -

It’s too large, which can happen when logos are uploaded. I need to whip out Mr Photoshop and resize the logo, then upload it again. Leave it with me, I’ll handle it when I’m next on my desktop. -
But apart from being an MOT tester, MOT tester trainer, MOT manager, MOT manager trainer, and 50 years of MOT experience, and a great club member and Area Organiser, what has Martyn ever done for us? 🤣

I've been using AI question generators to write the practice questions for MOT tester training.

Same again for this year @IanH 🎂🍺 -
I bought it as a spare from a suzuki main dealer as correct for the gsxr 600 throttle bodies that I used. Seems to match what you need.

Hi Gary, I think it could be. Some eBay listings indicate that the VL125 sensor is compatible and it looks like it's the right shape where it engages:

Expanding foam seat…. Done!
Andrzej replied to Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset's topic in The Start Line
Hmm as radiologist I am very aware re Your righthand thorac spine scoliosis and huge lumbar lordosis if this foam is shaped properly (Hope not ! ) : ) I am sure those are from lack of foam but worth to add some and seat would be night and day im terms of comfort and keeping body steady on turnus and braking -

I understand that these are rather hard to find, but if anyone has one that they could spare, I would be grateful if I could buy it. There are a few on eBay but the prices are a little, erm, optimistic.

For sure. But difference is that Yanosik beside fixed list of radars etc has main principle working - every user (app or device) when see Police with radar on side of the road / accidend/ traffic / police in civil looking car with radar etc can just push appropriate button and in the same time all other users in that area when approaching to this point on road got warning message/icon/ voice warning with distance to this point in metres. And as there is a looot of users it is updating live. We can also cancel non existed warnings. Algorithm cuts out non existed already "moving speed traps" and veryfing freshly added ones . BTW Yanosik ( Janosik ) is our outlaw historic cheef of robbers like Robin Hood

Headrest V1.0
Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset replied to Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset's topic in The Start Line
Have tidied the head pad up with some black edging which has worked well, and added a second pad underneath for a bit more comfort. Quite happy with it generally, combined with the seat it’s a big improvement. I may try to square up the top of the seat and extend it so it reaches the top of the back panel just to make it look a little better.
