Hi all. Just joined the WSCC and recently collected my Westfield. Looking forward to getting out and about asap and hopefully meeting up with some other members!

I currently have 20mm spacers on the rear, to get my current wheels to fill the arch better. So this is positive stuff

Obviously tyre choice can play a factor here too.

Sure the fronts will be fine. In my experience (ET20 8J) rear wheels, a spacer will be required so the inside face of the wheel clears the upright. I run a 10mm spacer so the equivalent of ET10. I think @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary runs ET24 8J rear wheels with a 15mm Spacer so the equivalent ET9.

I'm in the Gulf of Mexico at the moment. Due home Thursday, I could check then. I do have 10mm spacers on my current ones. 15" team dynamics 1.2s

They may stick out a bit more than what you have at the moment, standard Westfield wheels usually have ET25-35. Ideally you want to see what offset your current wheels have, then use an online service like www.willtheyfit.com to check the position of the new wheels.

@Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman)would you happen to know if these wheel offsets would fit a mega S. I think i've read you've swapped 15 & 13 wheels on yours.

Do you know if these would fit my mega S2000? I'm interested in them if they will. Only thing I'm in warkworth, Northumberland. Would you be passing or interested in posting? Of course i'll cover postage

Clearing out a collection of Westfield SE parts. Kept as spares for a solid-axle SE. Happy to sell individually or as a bundle. Included: Ford English axle casing Bare casing only. No differential, shafts or brakes. Westfield mounting brackets welded on. Straight and solid, ideal as a spare or for rebuild. Westfield SE front uprights (pair) Cast iron Cortina-based uprights. Surface corrosion to stub axles as shown in photos, no deep pitting. Bearing lands intact and cleanable. Threads intact. Will need new bearings as expected. Front and rear anti-roll bars (SE) Complete bars with mounts as pictured. Believed to be Westfield items, removed from an SE. Steering rack Manual rack. No visible markings or ratio ID. Turns freely. Condition: All parts are serviceable but will benefit from cleaning/refurbishment before use. Please see photos for condition. Prices: Axle casing: £125 Front uprights: £150 the pair Anti-roll bars: £120 for both Steering rack: £80 Bundle price: £400 for everything. Collection preferred due to size/weight. I also swapped the routing of the power supply to the starter as it had been run under a chassis member and clearly been in contact with a speed bump or suchlike at some point.

A set of 8x13 rear and 7x13 front Compomotive CXR Alloy Wheels with Avon Slick tyres from a Westfield SE sprint car I have sold. These wheels are in good condition, the odd mark and residue from gaffa tap over the wheel weights. No repairs, welds or dents. 4x108 pcd Front offset et20, rear offset et18 £380ono Collect from Manchester. I travel a lot so try me as logistics might workout.

I've various spares for sale now I have sold my car. First up are some body parts for a narrow body SE chassis. Collection is from Manchester. I travel a lot so might be able to coordinate with where you live for the nose and bonnet, drop me a message. One piece body: rear arches are not detatchable. Age is circa 1990 and has had the arches extended to accommodate up to 10 inch rear wheels. Cut out for exhaust on near side. Lowline nose cone and bonnet. Average condition but no cracks, just need paint, but hard to find! £300 for the lot.

Swapped all the clips on the lower coolant hoses from nasty rusty jubilee clips to full stainless Mikalor hose clamps and refilled coolant. This should mean I have a new leak tomorrow and airlocks galore in the cooling system 🙄

Can beat this myself as I am a relative New-by, although I’ve seen that background before. Bonus point issued! HB.

Can anyone else match this - two mugs nearly 40 years apart! I’m pretty sure the mug on the right is c.1988/89 from when I had my 7SE.

Manufacture Quoted Are your photo mugs dishwasher and microwave safe? Our white printed mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. Personally I would expect some fading over time. The WSCC YouTube mugs created 4 years ago🤔 still look great but mine has faded somewhat with daily washing. Hope this Helps HB.
