Please put me out of my misery, what does FTD mean? Can't find anything via Google. Something or other Track Day maybe? No doubt it will be blindingly obviously once someone tells me 😂 -
Hello good people. Project 1.6 Ecoboost will commence after the weather turns and I am looking for some sigma engine mounts as it may make it easier. Thanks for reading. Dan

My first Donington GP experience!
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary replied to Rob Hunter - Club Secretary 's topic in Track Days
Thanks, it's the mighty Honda covering up for my lack of talent! Considering it's a heavy engine and box and it has never had any chassis set up work since it was built 11 years ago (it's even running the original AVO shocks!) it does pretty well on track. All I've ever done is tweak the ride height to suit the different diameter wheels/tyres and send it 😂 -

Chassis is bare with only the tub and roll bar fitted - nothing else includes at this price. Do have front and rear wishbones which can be included for extra cost. 2007 Q plate I bought this as a complete car, not aware of the damaged that was hidden under a new set of bodywork. I uncovered the bent chassis when trying to fit some carbon flared side panels and decided it was only right to part the car out and sell up. I can assist with getting this to anywhere in the UK at buyers expense. £2000 no offers

XI meet up September 6th, Turweston Aerodrome NN13 5YD
DIY-Si posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
As first suggested on the Eleven Enthusiasts Group on Facebook, it's about time an XI specific meet was organised. As such, the inaugural (maybe?) XI meet-up will be at the Flight Deck Cafe at the Turweston Aerodrome, NN13 5YD on Saturday 6th September at 09.00am. There will be the usual things: chatting, breakfast, poking around under bonnets, etc, with the possibility of a little run out followed by lunch, for those who feel the urge/have the time. For those that like light aircraft, there's also usually something to watch come in or out. Anyone thinking of coming along, please reply here or on Facebook so that I've got a vague idea of numbers. Thanks all! -

We arrived early at Quackers Soon the troops arrived with Glynn next A last minute decision (escape) from Jake Paul and Margaret then I was too busy chatting to photograph any more arrivals This is the full quota of cars, 7 sevens so today we were the 49ers We sunbathed on the terrace at Quackers cafe After a catch up we set off on our route, up the hill towards the Longshaw Estate past fifty thousand cyclists puffing away, glorious scenery down surprise view and on to Winnats Pass. It was never going to be a clear run on a sunny Sunday in August so we just enjoyed the alpine scenery as we drove in second gear with the engine at 90 degrees. Up and over Mam Nick to get to the Rambler Inn for midday. The 'small' lunches arrived thick and fast Here we are parked in the scenic car park at The Rambler Inn Who fancies cake? We carefully chose the route to avoid the tourists and had a good run to the Cupola Cafe, which also has a very scenic car park Wait for it Intensley chocolatey torte But oh Glynn stole the show with his Bailey's Bread and Butter Pudding, just look at the size of it!! Andrew came for a comparison and was very disappointed, where is @Andy Westwood when you need him? We've had a fantastic day, what colour are her eyes? Double D, still laughing at that one! and the wonky indicators? hilarious. Also my intermittent indicators? a loose connector, all fixed so I can stand down my right arm signals for now. Thanks for a brilliant day out guys, apparently we are going to Silverstone next weekend so maybe we'll see you in a fortnight, kiss kiss xx- 17 replies
