rumour has it there was a Lotus in the pic must have been photoshopped out ๐Ÿ˜
  3. Today
  4. Thankfully, the XI is meant to have the brake line run in the tunnel, on top of the lower chassis rail. The fuel line goes straight from the tank, which is alongside my right knee, to the engine bay.

@Flying Carrot Steve Yes, we (the Dorset lot) attended the KitNet track day at Castle Combe today! Were you in your car? I canโ€™t say I saw one plus mine was on the back of a trailer. Had a great day there, was really hot ๐Ÿฅต

You also have a dodgy pic on page 8 ๐Ÿคฃ
  9. Received my mag today and found I have two page 6's and two page 40's. Could this be a collectors copy/edition??๐Ÿ˜€
  10. Thanks for the nice comments folks I thought Iโ€™d take some of the bodywork off (takes all of 2 minutes) to show the engine area a bit more, plus some more pics of carbon ๐Ÿ˜„

    J21 MAS fellow Flying Carrot!

Saw you today at Castle Combe! I think you half waved at me as you were trundling down the entry road from Avon Bridge to go on track but I may have imagined that ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm not sure if we've met before, I've met so many kit owners know that I do sometimes forget who's who! It was blooming hot wasn't it! Everyone seemed to have a good day though, hope you went well?
  13. Looks like a proper flying carrot

    South West of England Meets

    By a country mile! ๐Ÿ˜
  15. God I hate that when you can't stay with the car, I actually get anxiety most times, pacing around like an expectant father. Luckily my usual MOT guy actually wants me to stay sat in the car! Unfortunately he's flipping retired ๐Ÿ˜ญ View from up top of the 4 post lift last MOT ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I'll probably never get to do that again ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

    North East Meet 12/08/25

Sorry Mark i was planning to be with you tonight but i have been trying, most of the day, to locate my golf clubs which had disappeared from my locker at the golf club.
  17. Yes its nice to stay with your car whilst getting my megablade mot done i was asked to go in the waiting room until I heard this alarming revving, crunching and grinding noise coming from the workshop so I rushed in to find a young lad who looked about 14 trying to work out how to use the westfield reverse gearbox so I promptly turned the key of and asked him to remove himself from the car and he agreed maybe it would be better if I done the brake test outside it passed

And....... breathe!!! The red rocket has a fresh MOT! She had been laid up for 4 months due to work and family commitments (so needed a few quid thrown at her) but I'm so pleased my happy place is back on the road!!!
