Damn, not fast enough, to be fair though, they’re the only 2CV kit supplier I can remember though I’m sure there were others in the past. -
Burton Power do crossflow sumps which you could modify, or they sell dry sump kits that will solve both your clearance issue and relieve you of lots of readies, but they are very nice indeed!

Is it a Lomax? -
Hi, does anyone have any leads on a shallow sump to fit a Ford Kent crossflow in my Westfield Sei? Mine has been bashed underneath and leaks through the plug now.

Kas started following Windscreen pillars
-
Hi, I have a set of pillars in black that are like new with one bit of paint missing from storage but otherwise new and unfitted. Comes with brand new boxed mirrors as well. I bought them as a package from Ash last year but never fitted them as I'm going to go down the aero screen route. Looking for £300 posted for both pillars and mirrors.

@Jakejmagee is coming!! -
Just clearing out our garage a bit. I've got a Crivit Outdoor motorcyclist's one piece waterproof over suit. Size is XL, and I'd say that is a very generous XL, because it was a bit large for me and I'm almost 6 feet (say about 185cm. for the youngsters!) and about 16 stone when I bought it, or about 100kg. in the shower. I think I only wore it once, so its as good as new, and looks it. Colour is black. How about £20 plus postage? If you are in the Staffordshire or Derbyshire area you are welcome to meet up and try it on for size. I'm in North Staffs., near Uttoxeter.

That is an excellent idea tbf. I'm struggling with all this online stuff lately. Smartphones, the devil's work 😂

Gotta get mine there sometime, it's not had a full dyno session since Troy did it in 2019 -
Cheers guys. I do have to work lol and I also have a digital detox day once a week lol. 🤣 I have sent you a message Peter. Welcome to the crazy life of westfielding. Cheers bellyboy

Trial Members get 60 days or 50 posts, whichever comes first, to decide cost-free if the club is for them. Without giving away secrets, if an Admin has to approve a new Trial Member’s account before they can post, they can see if their details are either obviously kosher or obviously dodgy. It only takes about 10 seconds to sniff out a wrong ‘un and ban them permanently before they go on a spam spree. -

@marcusb Don't get it then. If they aren't paying to be trial club members then how does manual approval of trial club members keep them out? But never mind not important -

Took my car to Northampton Motorsport last week for some attention to the cold starts and a map check. Unless the car had been sitting in the garage on only the hottest of days, it would start fine but run a bit lumpy until — I can only guess — the coolant reached around 30°C or so. Easily resolved with a bit of gas or just starting to drive, but I wanted it checked over having previously replaced a duff CHT sensor. Troy spent a morning running it up and down on the dyno, changing some of the ECU (OMEX) base settings and tweaking all the low RPM fuelling maps. As far as I know, it was as out the box by Westfield beforehand. Apparently, it had been configured to look for 9000 RPM, and by reducing it to a more realistic 7500 RPM, it gained a load of “resolution” in the map — fuelling is now more discrete and precise across the RPM range. The idle control values were also set poorly in the ECU and needed doubling to their maximum. Anyway, it now starts and idles great, but I’ll need to wait for it to be truly “cold” to see how it behaves. The dyno work did manage to kill the exhaust bobbin — too hot in low or no airflow — but it’s easy enough to replace. The whole team there were really helpful and deserve the good reputation they get on the forum. -
