Hiya all, since owning my SEight I’ve pondered what the long term future of the Petrol Engine or more to it “sustainable fuel” will be, but I’ve not worried about it for too long, as I can use it in the now. But having worked/supported 13 yrs at JLR in their EMC (engine manu ctr) now known as their EPMC (electric propulsion manu ctr) in Wolves, seeing the mass reduction in ICE engine output becoming EDU’s for EV’s, you see first hand the government/eco warrior led direction of the biggest UK vehicle manufacturer forced away from ICE over to the EV revolution. Sorry, I'll miss this one. However, hopefully it'll be the last one I miss for a while. I'm 95% there now on the repairs etc. The shattered clutch foot rest has now been replaced, strengthened and re-sealed in. The FreeWheel and BeamStop went back on the car today, and after testing, all seem to be working OK. I need to tidy the wiring back up again now, wire in the phone charger/mount, then the scuttle can go back on. So, very, very close now! Have a good one!
