Afternoon all, I need to recalibrate my smiths speedometer, I've got a pre 2004 telemax type. I've measured that it does 69 inches per full wheel rotation. You then somehow need to turn that figure into a number on the speedo, which i can access! Instructions on caerbont automotive website are somewhat confusing (to me) Can anyone simplify the process for me.

Hello, thinking of selling mt SEi, (not the end of the world, I have another) I'm struggling on how to price it. I bought it as a none runner a couple of years ago, it had been sat, in the dry. All good now, new hoses, cam belt, fuel pump, tyres, engined proffessionally tuned (160bhp), air filter, battery, probably other bits I cant remember as this was all last year, oh new shocks, still not fitted thou, existing are fine just look old. The bit that makes this hard to value is the engine, Toyota 4age 1600 20v Silver top, its an amazing engine when driving just rare these days. Hard to find something to compare it to. Any help on price, (or if anyone is intrested) would be appreciated. Thanks

As the title says, complete set of engine mounts. Brackets for engine, chassis and rubbers. Removed from my car during conversion. No longer needed and lost some storage so need to go. £30 collected from BD22, £40 posted.

Keep banging your hand on the dash changing gear, can't reach stick properly. Here's an unconventional answer for you. Fitted to my car when it had xflow with Sierra gearbox fitted. No need to removed gearbox to fit. Replace existing stick with this one, the extra stick fastens to tunnel top further back. Needs another knob or I guess you could move the Momo one back. Worked a treat, done many sprints, hillclimbs, auto tests and road miles never let me down. I've no need for it now and have lost some storage so needs to go. £20 for an engineering masterpiece collected from BD22 or £30 posted. Front stick and knob must be worth more.
-
Original number plate holder removed from old body. In reasonable used condition. £15 collected from BD22 or £20 posted.
-
Original style rear lights. From my old body, in good condition. £20 collected from BD22 or £25 posted.
-
Bought from another member but never used as I've fitted a different style of lights. As you can see from the pictures the previous owner started cutting one to fit so this needs taking into consideration. If you need more pics or measurements let me know. I believe the lamps alone are £20+ each so £50 for the lot collected from BD22, £60 posted.

Removed from car when they were removed from blue book list. (These are actually E marked) Knocking on but stored in the dark and plenty of life left in them for track days etc. 185/55/13 fronts 215/55/13 rears Tread depth shown as an indication, it varies slightly. Need gone, £100 collected from BD22

Just out of storage so need a clean, made as a replica alloy for old Alfa racing wheels. Fitted with Yokohama 888 in GG soft compound. Wheels have a few very insignificant marks from use but look lovely polished up. Tyres are knocking on, stored in the dark, no cracking and holding pressure but these had some grief sprinting so possibly past their best. 14*6.5J says et20 but rough measurements are 17.5 offset and 114mm backspsce Tread depth shown to give you an idea, it does vary slightly. These are a rare wheel, they attract a lot of attention and I can guarantee you won't see another Westfield with them on. Breaks my heart but need to go. £350 collected from BD22

Pulled out of storage so need a clean, no damage but not showroom. Fitted with Yokohama A048 185/60/13 in Medium compound. Used as my track day wheels. Tyres are knocking on but have been stored in the dark, have no cracks and are still soft. 13*6 rough measurements 19/20mm offset, 106mm backspace. Tread depth shown to give you an idea, it does vary slightly. Need gone so £250 collected from BD22

🫣 Early Caterham K&N, JPC, Jupiter Alloy Wheels. Powder coated black by Triple S (cost a fortune!) with Avon Turbo speed CR28 205/60/13. Just pulled out of storage, used to use these as my wet weather tyres, need a wash but the wheels are in good condition with just a few very insignificant marks from use. Tyres are a knocking on a bit but they've been kept in the dark, have no cracks and are still soft. Happy to provide more pics if required. 13*6J, rough measurements give 19/20mm offset, 108 backspace. Tread depth shown to give you an idea, it does vary slightly.. I know the wheels alone are worth more but need them gone so £250 collected from BD22

Hi! You may have seen my interest in a set of bodywork for my car that's in the for sale section. I hope it doesn't cause confusion running two threads about this - I want to reach the widest possible audience, so if you're reading this feel free to spread the word. Is anyone able to assist in transporting the bodywork from Haworth in Yorkshire to Westward Ho! in Devon? Maybe you are travelling this way (unlikely, I know)... Maybe your second cousin twice removed is... Maybe you know a reliable courier I could ask... Anything would be great! Thank you!

Great, let me PM you. Would rather it have a chance at a second life than become immediate scrap!
