Flying visit from Phil in his new S2000
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO posted a topic in The Start Line
Nice of @Hafod to call in on his epic maiden journey from Swadlincote to North Wales in his new to him lovely S2000 bought from @K4RL Car is in great condition, Phil's a very happy man. The weather gods seems to be on side too. Here's hoping he gets home dry! I'm curious as to the builder/previous owner as it's got my keyless ignition upgrade and the Dash2 settings aren't factory.. Perhaps @Barnsley John-

Donnington GP 29th april
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to mtownsend's topic in Track Days
Nice, mine's never done this, that I know of, sadly!- It has popped and banged and nearly launched a clearly, upset cow onto the bonnet of @AndyD-Yellow Peril's car in the Alps, though! Didn't get a shot of that -

MOT today. All good, ready for another 300 miles….thankfully I get MOTs for free!! eta…. Long story short, due to the combination of GSXR600 ITBs, a stock engine that generates a lot of suck and a very early ECU that has fixed load sites, the car occasionally pops & bangs on very slight throttle. Found myself pondering the cost of a new Emerald K6+ after the MOT run yesterday. Sadly, the current ECU is too old to benefit from the rather generous Emerald upgrade offers so it has to be a new ECU. I should have just bought the one Karl temporarily set up on the car that proved and then cured the issue when we had it mapped all those years ago. -
Cheers guys..

Replacement chrome ferrule that fits under the Westfield polished Ali gear knob
KevanP replied to KevanP's topic in Parts Wanted
Just looked. A bit pricey, especially as I only need the ferrule. But thanks for letting me know -
Hi Ash, I would have been interested, but the price is rather high, bearing in mind a new one (minus westfield laser etch) is £32. Plus, I only need the ferrule. I've got two of these gear knobs already with one knackered ferrule.

Lovely job Mike Looks like you made them from thinner Polycarbonate than me. Good shout as I think mine are a bit on the heavy side (thickness wise).

A day left unsupervised, so tried to do some of the Northumberland 250 route. I went Warkworth to Blanchland. Got a bit lost. I need a better app for routes. Google maps kept trying to send me back to Alnwick. It didnt automatically tick destinations off. But an enjoyable 130 mile run out.
