If you need cheering up or fancy a little chuckle, have a watch of this.... I have absolutely no idea why but it definitely made me think of kit car life 😂

Exploring Car Handling Limits

As @Rusty Nuts says, the Curborough guys are great. I did one of the "Introduction to Sprinting" sessions there a couple of years ago. Very informative and enjoyable, I had some laps as a passenger in the instructors stripped Clio 182 before taking him out in my Westfield to get some tips. There's always help on here too, for instance @Alex Gaskin volunteered (well, maybe I nagged him a little!) to give me a few pointers round Donington which was brilliant as he is a very competitive driver in the Sprint Series. The circuit was damp and I was on semi slicks but it was really useful to get his feedback on my driving (although I did take him for a trip to the very scenic beach at Coppice at one point 😂😂). -

That is what I was doing Hedley and it doesn't work anymore for me. It used to which is weird. I found another way though so all is good.

I'll have a look at them, thanks. For upgraded parts, I tend to mainly use Tegiwa although have just bought a titanium VTEC pressure switch delete from Exo Racing as my current switch (not used on our standalone ECU's) has started to weep.... I've also got a VTEC solenoid seal kit on the way as I may as well change that while I'm under the bonnet with my hammers 😂 -
Hi @StevieG the Curborough Sprint School has a training day at the Curborough Sprint Circuit, not too far for you. the next one is on the 4th of September. If you want to message me I can share a phone number with you - offers a bit more of a professional training session. Otherwise there is the Warwick track day at Curborough I think mentioned by Martyn - this is a very friendly well organised day, can recommend as have attended many times.

The challenge now is to sell the parts you dont need for more than you paid for the car = free engine -
Thanks - have messaged you.

Just press share on the video page and grab copied link.. Should embed like this then. Biggest worry is that people don’t actually press them very often! Ah sorry I’ve since read to the end of the feed this is already been answered. -

I should be ok for this. Won't be in an XI for obvious reasons. If its dry I'll bring the SEiW, if not it'll be one of the tin-tops. -

Hello Dave, Good spot. I checked my snaps of the bits. The VIN is very abbreviated but is the same on the V5, I think it implies that the kit came from the factory in '92. Looks like a long time to first registration, either because it was used unregistered for a long time - or took an age to build. Best, Geoff aka NotMcGoohan

Swapped to a smaller denso type a few years ago and got these for the normal pinto alternator if you want them.

@BRJ has this about a year ago IIRC
