So from work we get a quarterly "wellness allowance". Meant for home office niceties, gym subscriptions, fitness equipment etc. You get the idea. I managed to sneak these through as "gym trainers", in a fetching shade of Westfield blue to match the car. Just right for the treadmill, or a small pedal box, whichever seems more appropriate! 🤣🫣🤫

Carbon effect front wings, they've been well used, there are a few scuffs and one has damaged to front edge, cracks should be an easy repair from the underside, I ran them for 3 years with duct tape beneath. This is the best, most forgiving material for front arches for an over enthusiastic driver 🤣 £20 collect BD22

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back. Car successfully collected today and 170 miles home (to do a journey that’s only 90ish). Covered in sun tan lotion, bugs in my hair and slightly deaf, but very happy!

I sometimes think that if I still had all the cars that we've had in our family then I'd be a good way on the way to being a millionaire. But then I remember that the reason that we got rid of most of them was terminal tinworm. So I'd not be a millionaire; I'd just own a very large pile of iron oxide.

I wouldn't; you could loose the cars identity, for a road car you would then need to IVA again, which could all get very complicated. If the factory supplies the chassis, they can ensure destruction of the old one, and issue it on the same VIN number, not something any other company should really be legally doing.. If it doesn't have clear Westfield provenance in the form of invoices, AND looks different to a stock chassis, you may then get hammered on price when ever you eventually want to sell...

I had one of these in the 70s. It tried to kill me at least three times to my recollection. I bought it for $2,500 and sold it for the same when I couldn’t afford to run it.

Need to wait and see what they say, but a repair is out of the question and I'm not too sure about a new chassis with some new panels. The time frame could also be quite long and I wouldn't really want that, so miby the cash would be better. Just need to wait for their update.

Hi! @SootySport Is mine an early Kit widebody? Considering the incident with my fly-off bonnet I had some years ago - would it be a wise investment to put this into storage for a "rainy day"? Or do body parts come up fairly regularly?
