They won’t fit a narrow SE - if that’s what you’ve got. I’ve been there myself.

The rules vary slightly by state, with it generally being more difficult and involved than the UK but it is doable. I was building mine for use in Australia before moving back to the UK and the IVA seemed easy compared to requirements there...

In Australia, are the rules the same as in the UK? I mean, can one build a car in a garage and then get it approved through individual vehicle approval (according to certain rules, which are known), and that’s it? Or is it like in the EU, where one cannot build a car in a garage that can be used on public roads?

That is the exact one I looked at last year! I also thought it was the best of all the ones I'd seen. Good to get a real world user opinion. I may have to get myself one!

I have just changed the wheels/tyres on my Westfield from 16" to 13" and now have the following for sale: 5 x TSW R System wheels - 16 x 7.5 with 35 offset. Stud holes are 4 x 108. The spare is pristine (never been used) but the other 4 have seen men scared and will need cosmetic refurbishing depending on what they are going to be used for. All 5 are sound with no cracks or chips. Fitted to the wheels are 4 Toyo Proxes 195 x 45 with full 6mm tread. They are 10 years old but no sign of cracking or perishing. The spare is fitted with an Avon ZV3 195 x 45. It is 21 years old and still has the stickers on it. It has always been kept in the dark and no signs of cracking or perishing and is probably still useable as a spare. I am not really sure what to ask for them but I think £300 would be a fair price. I thought I would resurrect this thread as we are entering the time of year that see's mental health issues raise their heads again. Local to me a young girl hung herself after being made redundant which was the straw that broke the camels back from what others have said. Plus today a person has been hit by a train again near where I live, not clear yet if this was an accident but it was on a stretch not readily open to the public. I like many have had issues in the past and most of us may know people who might appreciate a friendly chat, so I know we are busy but that chat might be just what they need. Just a thought

VAG cars all have cameras mounted in the number plate light plinth and thats where I put mine when I had Audis. You might be able to connect it up to your media unit depending on model. I just bought a cheap camera from Ebay which had the guidlines and it worked fine. It 's great for hitching up a trailer and if you paint a bright yellow line on the centre line of the trailer hitch, it's much easier to line up the hitch with the towball, especially in bad light conditions.
