  5. Brought these but both a little large for me. T-shirt never worn, jacket worn a couple of times but like new. Soft shell jacket & green t-shirt. Both XL size. £30 the pair plus a fiver if postage required. PS…no rude comments required thank you
  6. This is a long shot I know, but if anyone has this as a spare part, willing to sell, then please get in touch. Similar to the attached. Thanks, David.

    Have a great day @Yorkshire_Pudding & @snakey22
  9. Great idea. Having done 2 of these events I agree that being in the right place at the right time does take some care and monitoring.

    🎉 Celebrating 40 Years of WSCC! 🎉

“Bet the mug’s won’t last 10 years”. Time will tell. @SootySport They will however last longer on the pyjama bottom. 10 years of fast fun! Indeed. ATB HB.

    🎉 Celebrating 40 Years of WSCC! 🎉

The wife wears the 30years of fast fun T-shirt as her pyjama top. Must be good quality. Bet the mugs won't last 10 years.
  12. Yesterday
  13. Thanks for that. Having looked into a bit more, the most current wording in the MSUK rules I can find is very much the same. Because it's considered a motorsport event, even if it is "just" a parade lap, the full passenger rules apply. I suspect this would catch a lot of folk out if it's not made clear in advance. Best get the boy working on his deep voice and gruff demeanour! @Hedley Bennett (HB46443) - Club ChairmanIs this something worth adding to the general information somewhere, as I suspect there will be a good few folk bringing small people along and hoping/expecting them to be allowed on track.
  14. That was me and my son is Scott's photo. At the time he was "sort of 12". These were the rules at the time which I have found in my inbox from Silverstone: "Passengers are allowed to take part in parades but the number of people in any car must not exceed the number of seats fitted to the car and all must be in possession of an Event ticket. All passengers must be seated in the seats provided and safety belts must be used. Passengers under 18 must have the signed approval of their parent or guardian to participate in a track parade. Passengers in Touring Cars, or Cabriolet/Sports Cars with the hood erected or hardtop fitted, must be 12 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. Passengers in Cabriolet/Sports Cars without the hood erected or hardtop fitted must be aged 16 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. No child under 12 years is allowed to be a passenger. This is subject to change at the discretion of Motorsport UK."
  15. Booked, and looking forward to it with my son.
  16. Hi All. Social nite at Arbuckles Downham Market 6.30pm onwards. Discussions about events coming up and lots of laughs. Cheers Bellyboy
  17. Back in 2016, it was no one under 12, belts must be worn, helmets not required and disclaimers to be filled in and signed (bring a pen!). I’m pretty sure a 6’ young man will be fine, but I’d advise bringing his passport for ID purposes just in case - that and getting him to practice lying about his age! I said 16 just in case, happy to be wrong. More details will be provided later I’m sure. No doubt it’s to stop excited children falling or jumping out mid-lap. The rules may well be different in 2026. I will say now that if you’re going on the parade lap not to wander too far away from your car! Last time, they gathered us up about 90 minutes before the lap and moved us to the staging area at trackside. If you miss the staging call, you are highly unlikely to be allowed to join late. I also suggest a Parade Lap WhatsApp group near the day so that everyone can be pinged and kept up to speed so they don’t miss the staging call!
  18. Do you know any more info regarding this? I very much intend taking my 13 year old son (who is also 6' tall, so it would be debatable if anyone would question his age) round with me, but I have no roof, nor any way of ever attaching anynsich thing, and suspect many others also don't. Is having a roll hoop sufficient, do you think?

  22. Genuine Ford Motorsport RS Turbo series 1 wheels 4 No. in good condition, no kerbing or dints with original paint finish not refurbed. Tyres are old and should be scrapped. Used as track day wheels on my Westfield. 85BB - BA 5.5x14 ET41 Motorsport 9059022. Yokohama centre caps can easily be changed. Great wheels for track days as 14” dia helps with acceleration over normal 15” wheels on Westfields.
  23. Outstanding work @Martin Aldred - Shows & Events Coordinator very well done, off to book now! I’ve been on a parade lap around Silverstone before and it’s a great experience. A couple of quick things: The more members who buy tickets and buy them early, the better of a pitch we will get on the day. In 2016, we had about 65 members with cars and we got an infield pitch next to the Wellington Straight, which was fabulous for watching the racing. Lower numbers will get us a pitch in a car park. How good this turns out to be is down to us collectively, so book it, Danno! If you are bringing your child under age 16, it’s likely they will make you do the parade lap with the roof on (see photo above). If that’s you, bring your roof to avoid supremely disappointing your child! (Yeah, I know, it’s zero protection in the event of any misfortune, but them’s the rules.). I’m sure this will be confirmed closer to the time, but pre-warned is no bad thing. £40 is also less expensive than it was in 2016! See you all there!
  24. Booked Parade lap did it.

    I must be crazy

Andy, Crazy is a word often used with Westfield builds. Yes, you're crazy to take this on, do yourself and your sanity a favour and back out now. It's not too late to save yourself. Think of the hours you're going to spend on the internet, looking for advice from people who don't know what a Westfield is, the keyboard warriors of the kit car world. Yes that part will fit, possibly. And I have one in stock, here's the payment details for my bank in Roumania. Otherwise, welcome to the club, also known as the madhouse. Good luck. John.

    I must be crazy

Crazy is just a state of mind! You’ll get lots of help here, especially spending money on upgrades… This area is where you can download build manuals, which could prove invaluable. Good luck - we’re all counting on you.

Evening do you still have the windscreen fillet by any chance? Thanks Andy
