It does leave a small lump of the repair sticking out to trim off but it was on my quad for 5 months and never seemed to wear down it's tough stuff. -

Yes. Hold your phone flat, do not tilt it, rotate through 90° -

Well, still no car, but the ramp has arrived and the good news is, I think it will just about fit in one of my garages 😂

Westfield Genuine 1 piece bonnet and nose. Brand New. In red with grilles attached. Uncut, undrilled and unused. I will get photos this week to show how good it is. This has come as part of the kit with an SEIW, although I'm not sure it makes a difference? Any interest please let me know otherwise I may look to fit it. Price from westfield was over £2200! Located near Norwich for collection only.

Hi, I’m looking for a pair of front Wilwood or Hi-Spec calipers to replace the original ones on my Cortina. I’m based in Spain, so the items would need to be shipped internationally. Please note that I will cover all shipping costs, as well as any applicable Brexit-related taxes or customs duties. Best regards,

Good to meet Dave and his Stag owning friend, hope to see you in your newly finished Westfield and your friend in his Stag next year! A reasonable day out but a pity we didn't get an extra run as there seemed to be time for one, but no communications from the organisers. Many thanks to Stuart Gilks for his help adjusting the throttle position sensor. -

Hi David Thank you. I've been pricing CAT and O2 sensor replacements, my local parts guys can get genuine Bosch 731, or generic matched parts. They do a great job on parts for all our family cars, so I'll see what they can come up with. I'm still running the alpha pro4 ecu, I'm still dithering about replacing it, as I've used one before I might go megasquirt. At my last MOT, the tester reckoned that as the lambda/fuel air ratio was spot on through the rev range, it was more likely that the CAT was failing to make testing borderline. This links to a point that @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) made in another emissions/MOT related post. Thanks again. Gary -

Yes, I am intending to replace the whole ECU in the autumn, and was already considering getting the boss repositioned at the same time. You can see in the photo that the orientation is indeed lower than level and could only have been worse if it was positioned vertically up. But, annoyingly, the sensor started playing up this week and not replacing it would just have been cutting off my nose to spite my face. You'd think that people making exhausts would know this stuff. Oh, well 🤷 Well, in the past, I have just ordered a replacement from the Weber website and received a genuine Bosch 0 258 006 731 at a competitive price. But this time not only had the price doubled but annoyingly I got a generic no name one instead. If I need another alpha compatible one in future then I think that I will either just get a shonkey pattern one from eBay much cheaper or go to a local parts house and get a genuine Bosch one for my money 😞 David -
