My email came through no problem I'm no techno wizard but I must say it was self explanatory very easy to understand and all that was needed for my membership options

Bought this when i was having problem with emissions before IVA. This wasn’t the problem it was the CAT. This was fitted and engine ran but then removed when the problem was still present. £60 delivered.

A link is a good idea and I don’t wish to make it appear as if it isn’t, but the problem with putting links in emails is that over aggressive spam / junk filters can see links in emails and immediately bin them - and it has happened to us, frustratingly. If emails gets binned often enough, the club’s @wscc.co.uk suffix can get blacklisted as a potential spammer - and it has happened. 🤬 All I can really do is keep spreading the word and trying to adapt the info in the renewal info as best as I can. No idea why you didn’t receive an email!

Hello all. So after much thought I have decided to sell up to fund myself getting a bike licence and bike. It is a 2015 Westfield FW Zetec with approx. 3500 miles. Built by a father and son previously with new parts and a crate engine, I have original Westfield/IVA paperwork, receipts, and a load of build photos. I have done a few bits to it since. MOT is due 15th June but will be done before sale. 🙂 mine is definitely not Pebble Beach Showground condition anyway. It's more "roll your sleeves up and get involved". There is definitely no noticeable new paint damage, but there may well be more road rash in places. But I can't tell.

@Captain Colonial Scott I appreciate your extremely comprehensive explanation. It must have been a frustrating period for you trying to provide options. The email content would have been extremely helpful sadly I didn't receive it. ( Just gone back through my junk folder too and nothing in there either). Perhaps there's a way to add some text to the renewal notice with a link to your guide in the membership section?

I suppose the bottom line is that you can’t “renew” something that you don’t have. Simples 😁

Awesome, glad it was a success. Sounds like a great place to go for a newbie but I'd be gutted if the car got littered with grit/stones, did yours suffer at all? I'm hoping to go with my brother but his car has a fresh paint job so not sure if he'd be so keen! Cheers

Hi it came with my car, it doesn’t utilise the supports as it has the double zip option so you wouldn’t be able to use them. all I can tell you is it fits a widebody FW

Hi Stuart Yes, I remember it well. There was no way to fix that, so the bit in everyone’s profile that said their membership status has been removed instead, mainly because if their membership is expired, they’ll get a big fat “Your membership has expired!” notice across the top of the forums and they’ll be unable to post, PM or see certain forums areas, all of which should be a bit of a clue…!

I would, but a restraining order prevents me from doing so.

I've trained the young padawan well. He loves getting involved. I bet there's nothing he'd enjoy more than having a fleet of Westfields on the drive to work through!

Scott, perhaps make it clear also that, when you renew with a different package to existing, the existing stays there showing as 'expired'. So it looks like you have 2 memberships - one expired and one current Or at least mine did!
