Hello I'm luke rom north Wales a new member just acquired my first Westfield this week, must say i love it not surer why i haven't had one sooner after owning a variety of cars, i have joined the forum to gather as much information as possible as i don't know an awful lot. the car is a 2001 seiw in green has a red top engine and it goes really well i don't know to much regarding the engine itself i was told its had a fresh build a couple years ago with pistons etc.. and been told it has uprated cams but not sure as he didn't know and no receipts. i look forward to learning about the car and getting out in it next summer its a bad time to get one coming into winter but I'm very impulsive and once ide seen it had to have it

Bought for my recent expansion bottle upgrade, not needed. Dry fitted only so as new. Β£10.00 inc postage costs or ono. -
Well Charlie, I'm using the Blacktop cam cover disguised as a Lotus Twincam cover. The smoother cover of the blacktop lends itself better to this than the heavily profiled Silvertop. Simple as that really !!

@Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOI'm on up to date Windows 10 with up to date browsers. Never happened before but started after a crap clean and reboot. You know that I'm an old fart but I am fairly IT savvy and I can't figure it -

I'm pretty sure it's the factory's ex-SwiftTune car. Lovely thing, but nothing to do with the XV. -
Just in case there are any doubters out there- I am still alive, I still have the car, it's still fantastic fun and it still makes me grin stupidly. Even better, my youngest (6) thinks it is better than Alton Towers. "How quickly does the red stick (odo needle) get to 60?" Was today's question. The answer was lost in cackling and shouts of 'make it go faster'!

Solo run out to The Motorist this morning, no bacon sarnie though, the queueing was immense. I knew the Cobra club was meeting there, so thought I'd show them up! -
Sounds like like a right nause. It always amazes me, we live in the country which has arguably the most kit cars in the world, but has some of the worst roads, worst traffic, worst weather and most anti car government and rules anywhere in the world! We must be nuts! π

I can't reproduce what you've got @Stuart with Win 11 PC with edge browser. -
The new first minister is still Welsh labour and probably more extreme and control obsessed than the last two . A few non labour councils have changed a few roads from 20 to 30 but there are so many 40 and 50 limits progress is very slow. When they brought in the 20 blanket they bought 31 more camera vans and lots of fixed cameras.

Yeah kinda guessed I did hence why I just added all info and pictures π thanks
