which kind of exhaust for a silver top ZEI ?
DeanMegaS2000 replied to pierreA's topic in The Start Line
MK sportscars sell a long 6" universal with integrated cat. Marketed for trackday use, so should be good noise wise. I've no experience with it, but others might. There's also a shorter 540mm version. https://www.mksportscars.com/products/universal-6-stainless-steel-720mm-catalytic-converter-exhaust-silencer-2-5-trackday-silencer -

That silencer looks quite small to me. A bigger one would probably be of some help noise-wise at least. -
Happy Birthday Julie

hello guys, I've recently fitted a 4-1 manifold on my silver top zetec ZEI. it is now running with an independent cat + supersprint silencer. Result is : - noisy (very noisy) - bad looking - possibly leaky (2 connections, not the best ones) then I'm wondering if there's any kind of silencer + cat (in 1 piece) that may be straight connected to the manifold, not too loud for road usage, ok with MOT ? any advice or your own experience very appreciated! cheers, Pierre.

Yes rides better, initial turn in is sharper and it's more settled mid corner. And it just looks better π

As above, need a plated LSD checking to see if anyone has one before I buy new thanks

Rear suspension & fuel line / filters replace/refurbβd nearing completion Before: After: Removed & not replaced front & rear ARBβs and then fitted new Protechs & Springs, powerflex bushes, powder coated wishbones & brackets, new gates fuel lines & filters + general clean up & paint touch up. Next up MOT & back on the road π€ PS anyone after powder coating / soda or shot blasting, aluminium welding in West Midlands give me a shout. Excellent rates & service from a new start up business less than 0.5 miles from home - just wanted to promote a local service if anyone needs his service. - Yesterday

Love the wheel change. I've been considering the same, there's so much talk on here about 13s being better. Have you noticed much of a difference?
-
Front 110mm, rear 130mm. I think its the landscape coming down left to right and angle i caught the photo at that makes the car look so aggressive.
