Yes, Someone sent me the same info so may the longer pin could work. Today I took a closer look again and seperated the spacer from the bearing. Doing this just been using a flathead screwdriver and prying apart. It was quiet easy. Actually the spacer is a simple part, attached properly to the bearing. I ordered a replacement part from LUK and I will try the same thing with the brand new bearing (prying apart) and will reattach the spacer onto the new bearing. I am not sure if it will work but I will give it a try. Will upload the result. If it fails then I will order the new, longer pin. Many thanks for the links!

Thanks for the offer Charlie but I think I will need a plain version as am not going to fit the gauges just the dash2. Thank you though.

Yes, I thought it strange, but seems to be a real mix of cars at this meeting, so just thought I'd ask....

Think I’ve got a carbon-effect factory one, but has holes for all the gauges, switches and lamps cut out…. I bought it bare to use as a template for my carbon one. Happy to loan it for IVA purposes for the cost of shipping?

He's referring to the post with a pic of the car here- -
Welcome Roger, but I am at a loss as to why you think we can help? This is the Westfield Sports Car Club and while we happily welcome non-Westfield owners, a Triumph Herald is not something that I have come across on here?

Thanks @Captain Colonial for the words for wisdom. I'll keep on it. 🤞

Hello I've seen the pic of this at the Upton Bridge Farm Shop meet in October 2022. I used to own the car and wondered if anyone could put me in contact with the current owner? Thanks for your help Roger

That's ridiculous, but bear in mind that it's been roughly 23 working days now (Easter hols and weekends, don't forget), so I'm anticipating you'll get good news soon. Once it hits 30 working days on the 14th, keep pestering on a daily basis. Take names and reference numbers every time you talk to them and email once a week. It normally doesn't take this long at all. Make a PITA of yourself to encourage movement. If no joy after the 15th and in extremis, contact your local MP and ask for some help. I had a struggle with DVLA to fix my V5 when Swansea were adamant that my standard body Westfield was a three-seater.

A mate of mine has been trying for a couple of months to get his license back after a medical issue. He's not best pleased. D
