Hi Darryl, The Wirral and North Wales group have regular trips into Wales. They usually start from the Wirral, tomorrow's run will either be to Vyrnwy, Brenig or Bala, depending on who wants to take the lead. The Wirral start might not be convenient for you, we can always find somewhere to meet up. In September we have a 2 day trip, based in Llandrindod Wells, touring around the Elan Valley and Devil's Bridge. We have a WhatsApp group that keeps our group members informed of run outs, our monthly social get together, car shows, etc. If you would like to join pm or WhatsApp me your mobile number. And there's lots of info, chats, runs on the Boardroom. John. -

I have done a lot of showgrounds in my life for various things. I have to say that when the sun is shining you can't beat Malvern. It's clean, well run and darn Beautiful. -

Heater controls look like they're from Car Builder Solutions, nothing wrong with that, but the rest of the interior looks high market. Leather on the tunnel, carbon dash. Has the body been altered in any way? It would have been a perfect time for updates along with the new engine. Interested to see prices. -

A few of the MK guys have them, but to me it's just something else to go wrong and it's actually quite a good arm rest. -

Kit Car Event @The Motorist, 9th August.
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO replied to Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO's topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
We had 16 cars down for coming today, but due to various circumstances we managed 10. It didn't rain, although it was cloudy. Lots of kits there, Tigers, MEV and a lot of Caterhams too. https://youtu.be/FldAPC9ngo8?si=IMaHzjJCqvnQQQJC -

Hi John, I’m new to this site. I have just bought a SEIW FW with a 2.0lt Zetec black top engine. I live in north wales and I was wondering how do I find out about events, shows, days out etc on this site. Or do you have a contact number for someone who runs a club near me. I’m in Pwllheli. Thanks in advance, Darryl -

Another thrilling update for all those interested in ‘What have we done’ We will be collecting the car one day the week after next and Andrew at Toybox has come up trumps and found us a roof 😎 This afternoon has been spent fitting the lift. All the heavy stuff is done, electrics and hydraulics tomorrow, hopefully ending with the Spitfire up on top bunk before we go away Monday morning🤞 The good news is, it actually fits!

I see they’ve gone with the stubby type gear lever a-la Caterham. Unless it was just a bit cold in Bicester…. 🤣 -

I was actually looking at the kits for that the other day; they're not that expensive or hard to fit. I find that the gear lever really gets in the way. I'm not surprised that other manufacturers put them under the dash. Mind you, I've an awful lot of jobs to get through before I could justifiably spend time faffing about with that.
