What year is your megabird as i have a 2009 megablade which is pretty much the same car just different engine ( fireblade ) but it's a genuine car built as megablade from day one yours probably is too but some were modified to fit bike engines mines a wide body fixed rear arch if you need any measurements let me know put some pics up of your car that will also help .

Hi I cant offer much help with the bodywork but live in Andover. My car had been off the road for a similar amount of time to yours and had a fair amount of stuff to go through to get it back on the road, i've done it all myself just takes a bit of time though.

Have a look at https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/104285-spot-the-difference-–-bodywork/ if you can. It goes through a lot of the bodywork differences. Define "South" it's the widest part of the country..... and depending on your view, has a random starting point as far as latitude goes.

Thank you

The factory produced a model with the BlackBird engine, the MegaBird. Not sure if your's the case, as engines were swapped in anyway, need pictures of the chassis to evaluate. MK Sportscars work on all kind of kitcars, they are in Braintree I believe.

Do you have an agreed valuation on your Westie? Don’t underestimate the value of replacement parts. Assume the insurance assessor is familiar with kit cars as he has stated a replacement chassis is required, rather than repair. It’s all down to what the insurance company proposes for a total loss. Westie value could be affected if insurance company puts a CAT to your Westie. Tough choices, but glad you are ok. Totally agree with Dave Eastwood statement. Andy

Maybe it makes sense if there's a third option like "pay with the app"? Or am I ruining the fun here with some logic? -

So from work we get a quarterly "wellness allowance". Meant for home office niceties, gym subscriptions, fitness equipment etc. You get the idea. I managed to sneak these through as "gym trainers", in a fetching shade of Westfield blue to match the car. Just right for the treadmill, or a small pedal box, whichever seems more appropriate! 🤣🫣🤫- 379 replies

Carbon effect front wings, they've been well used, there are a few scuffs / marks and one has damaged to front edge, cracks should be an easy repair from the underside, I ran them for 3 years with duct tape beneath. This is the best, most forgiving material for front arches for an over enthusiastic driver 🤣 £20 collect BD22

Saw this sign at my local Tesco petrol station and I still can't work out what they meant. And yes that's my R1200RT on the right, waiting for me to figure out if I pay at the pump only or also in the kiosk... or neither -
You had great weather for it.😀
