SEALSKINZ Upwell heated, water proof cycling gloves, size XL. £65
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) replied to Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman)'s topic in Parts for Sale
I’ll have my new ones with me on Sunday too, but can take the ones for sale along, if anyone’s interested. As Julie says, an absolute game changer on longer trips in a Westfield. Of course, they’re biking gloves, technically, so perfect for winter biking, and as Julie said, any other outdoor activities, too! -

SEALSKINZ Upwell heated, water proof cycling gloves, size XL. £65

I might be guilty of recommending these gloves . I have been driving my Westfield in a pair of these every winter for the last 7 or so years and they are a game changer. When you have to psych up for the cold hands on the steering wheel and then you think oh I will just put the electric gloves on, it's great, you arrive at your destination comfortable. I only ever use them on setting number 1, more than that and it's too warm, although it's nice to put them on number 3 before you go out for a toastie start. I have female sized hands though, so they fit me perfectly and I can just pop them on and off easily, I recommend you try them on. They are also useful to wear for any outdoor hobbies, not just driving. Good luck with the sale, Dave, and if anyone has any questions or is near the Peak District, I will be wearing mine on Sunday, you are welcome to come and have a look at them. -
I purchased this with the aim of fitting it but never got round to it. It’s for an FW but not sure there are any difference in this part for other models. I can’t remember who manufactured it but it’s a beautiful piece. It will be packed carefully so as not to get damaged and sent via recorded delivery. £120 all in.

SEALSKINZ Upwell heated, water proof cycling gloves, size XL. £65

Bought on the recommendation of another all weather, all year Westfield driver! These are superb winter/cold weather gloves. Bought last spring when they were on offer for £130, (£190 is the regular price). Only used half a dozen times, once this year and the rest when I got them last Spring, thanks to my car being off the road from last Autumn right the way through till this March. They are lovely and comfy, and even without the heated elements on, nice and warm. But the 3 stage heating elements transform them in cold weather, keeping your hands warm far, far longer than insulation alone will manage. All the original packaging, batteries and USB charging cable, as supplied by Sealskinz, are present, they're pretty much like new. So, why selling. Well, unlike other Sealskinz gloves I've had, these fit small, compared to their size. (I'm normally somewhere between a medium and a large with Sealskinz products, neither of those versions of these gloves came close to fitting! Hence the XL, however, while the XL versions fit my hands themselves really well, because the battery packs are stored in the wrist cuffs, I do struggle getting these on in a hurry, when out and about in the Westfield. (I have to properly park up to put them on, there's no quickly slipping them on at traffic lights etc for me!) So, I've bought a pair of the Filby Gauntlet versions, with the expanded cuffs designed to go over your sleeves, I don't like them as much, but they work much easier for me! And so, these are for sale £65. Ideally, by collection, but could post them for an extra fiver, so £70 posted. -

I'd be up for this if it didn't clash with Malvern. Brooklands and Brighton handy for me but Malvern isn't anymore, so I need to stay over. -

The deal is for £7.95 you get a full English breakfast AND a hot drink in the cafe, that's not bad hey? Coates award winning sausages included, made from Packington free range pork. Meet at 10am, Sunday 22 March, DE56 2HE After breakfast we will head off into the Peak District to enjoy the better weather and the drier roads, no fog this time perhaps. This is the WSCC part of the meet, so to keep it fair, paying members only on the run out please. Who is joining us?
