Minor Forum page glitch?
Stuart replied to Stuart's topic in Club Boardroom & Website - Evolution & Issues
@Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOI'm on up to date Windows 10 with up to date browsers. Never happened before but started after a crap clean and reboot. You know that I'm an old fart but I am fairly IT savvy and I can't figure it - Today

I'm pretty sure it's the factory's ex-SwiftTune car. Lovely thing, but nothing to do with the XV. -
Just in case there are any doubters out there- I am still alive, I still have the car, it's still fantastic fun and it still makes me grin stupidly. Even better, my youngest (6) thinks it is better than Alton Towers. "How quickly does the red stick (odo needle) get to 60?" Was today's question. The answer was lost in cackling and shouts of 'make it go faster'!

Recent snap of your Westfield

Solo run out to The Motorist this morning, no bacon sarnie though, the queueing was immense. I knew the Cobra club was meeting there, so thought I'd show them up! -
Sounds like like a right nause. It always amazes me, we live in the country which has arguably the most kit cars in the world, but has some of the worst roads, worst traffic, worst weather and most anti car government and rules anywhere in the world! We must be nuts! π

I can't reproduce what you've got @Stuart with Win 11 PC with edge browser. -
The new first minister is still Welsh labour and probably more extreme and control obsessed than the last two . A few non labour councils have changed a few roads from 20 to 30 but there are so many 40 and 50 limits progress is very slow. When they brought in the 20 blanket they bought 31 more camera vans and lots of fixed cameras.

Yeah kinda guessed I did hence why I just added all info and pictures π thanks

Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO replied to Gary Goble's topic in Westfields for Sale
Yep. You've just posted this in the correct place. Good look with the sale. -
Westfield 2.0l Zetec Black Top FW sports. It's a stunning, fun car to drive fast and loud, always putting a smile on my face. No issues, whatever. Very well maintained. Was purchased from ToyBox as one of their cars for 18900 last June 2024. Folder of the original new build for every service and parts. Come with the roof, Wants for nothing. any questions please message or call me 07704083134

Thanks Dave, but I have a Silvertop, but wanting to change the cam cover to Blacktop for a specific reason.
-
Possibly a minor glitch on the Forum website as I haven't changed anything at all at my end. The 'Condensed' view doesn't hold anymore. Select Condensed, refresh the page and it switches to Expanded. I haven't seen this happen before, it's repeatable on Firefox and Chrome and is not fixed by pausing antivirus and firewall. Started happening either Friday or yesterday.

Flying Carrot Steve started following New to Westfields and Blacktop cam cover
-
I have a silver top one that fits
-
Don't suppose anyone has a spare Zetec Blacktop cam cover please?
-
Fabulous area for driving Westfields, some brilliant roads. As long as you can deal with the speed limits and cameras. Is it still the same since you got a new First Minister?
-
Welcome! I think Iβve seen the car for sale, is it white?

I passed there a couple of weeks ago on the way to Norfolk. Couldn't get close enough for decent photos.
