Cheers Andy, really interesting points in that video, and looking forward to see how this develops to affect Joe Public. I remember complaining when buying petrol at £1 a gallon, which is now circa £1.40 to £1.70 a litre, then I expect the synthetic fuel to be expensive until we have local (uk) manufacturers mass producing but this article brings home that it’s getting closer. happy days 🫶🏼🤞🙏👍

For the wimps out there, like me, who sorn there cars in winter, here’s how I do it. I have a couple of four wheel trolleys and with some strategical placed bits of wood I support the car so I can move it in any direction, to make most use of the limited space in a single garage. The timber supports the chassis and doesn’t allow the suspension to go into full droop. And here it is fully covered with old curtains and thick dust sheets under the Halfords car cover.

Steve, if it wasn’t polished before, it is now! If you’re going to the Black Country meet on Sunday can you park at Himley Hall? 😜

.thumb.jpg.9b16fe9048384bc18b7624ec36bb89c1.jpg) Old Warden Aerodrome (Shuttleworth Collection)Morris posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows This might be something to consider for next spring/ summer for members within easy reach of the Shuttleworth Aircraft Collection in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. The venue is inviting car clubs to have an area to meet up in on the airfield at both event and non-event days. I've been there on a number of occasions for predominantly air shows (including the fantastic 'race day'). It's a fantastic relaxed venue with plenty of vintage aircraft (the majority of which are airworthy), the lovely smell of burnt caster oil, lots of parking and a great cafe. Obviously there's no need to book for just turning up with your Westfield (parking in the general carpark), but if there's enough interest we could make it a little more formal and park closer 'to the action' by pre-booking. Would there be any interest? We are a little under-represented for events in this part (Hertfordshire) of the UK. https://www.shuttleworth.org/

Sports seats for sale (Black with yellow piping)SOLDFlying Carrot Steve replied to Ross the Scottish exile's topic in Parts for Sale In September last year I had 2 grp seats delivered by Evri, I think it was less than 8 quid per seat. Don't tell them it's car parts though, many of them refuse to do it. We told them they were gaming seats and had no issues with delivery at all. That price was from Essex to Bristol so may be more for Scotland. Passport control etc 🤣

Hello.. new member from north WalesRoss the Scottish exile replied to Lukerobs's topic in The Start Line Welcome, I’ve got a red top in the one I’ve taken to replace my V8, it has had some work done but is having more done during the winter. It’s currently in bits and the engine builder is working his magic.😉 lots of other bling and goodies to add this winter.

Sports seats for sale (Black with yellow piping)SOLDdvd8n replied to Ross the Scottish exile's topic in Parts for Sale To be honest, I'd suspect that if you had to ship them then the price would become uneconomic. They're big awkward and heavy. And there's two of them. If you never come to Scotland then you'd be better off looking for something closer to home, I'd think. Also, full disclosure, the fronts look good but the backs are a bit scuffed from 17 years being pushed against the rear bulkhead. These things seem to go for about £100 to £150 a pair so I was thinking about £120.

Hello.. new member from north WalesDave Eastwood (Gadgetman) replied to Lukerobs's topic in The Start Line Welcome! Yes, trial members need to use an external image hosting site, full members can upload directly to the forum - it's one of the (many) perks - and the storage space for photos is one of the things the subscription covers! The Redtop is a fantastic engine in a Westfield, I have many very fond memories of mine.
