I travelled up from Hampshire for this. Did 908 miles in total. Fault free and my Westy is 25 years old. Loved every bit of it despite some rain. What a car! What a club!! - Today

A great big thank you to Marcus Barlow, our Events manager for giving us this tour, here it is from our seat. Thank you for the hats in the best colour! We travelled up the M6 with @AndrewBClarke, @neptune and @Stuart, making our way to the Lakeland Motor Museum for lunch by the river whilst watching the steam train, fantastic start. Lakeland Motor Museum It's cafe by the river, overlooking the cars and steam trains Next we drove along the shores of Lake Windermere to ride on the ferry and experience the Lakes close up After the torrential downpour we were glad to park our cars in the heated underground car park at Travelodge Kendal, what a luxury. I am hoping others will post their experience on here and will include a photo of approx 20 Westfield's tucked up for the night. We went into Kendal town to eat with the 3 Andy's and others The puddings flowed and the frivolities started Next morning we all gathered for the Tour Talk from Marcus Then it was time to set off, excited!! Thanks @Glynn Walters for the photo At The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, Langdale It is in a lovely situation Next stop for us was the Honister Slate Mine cafe, here is the Honister Pass And here is us parked up Glenridding, a little mountain village next Time for ice creams Then we went a walk, follow me, puff it's uphill all the way to the top! To Lanty's Tarn For views over Ullswater Glenridding The second day was the Dales tour, over Buttertubs Pass and to the beautiful Simonstone Hall with it's amazing views, stopping for drinks The walk at Malham was cancelled due to rain so we went to Ribblehead Viaduct and sat it out in the Station Inn Our journey home with Andrew was to get down the M6 and pick up the Peak District, getting to the Cupola cafe before separating A fantastic trip, even if I didn't quite have a clue which National Park I was in each day, does it matter? they are all beautiful. Thanks to everyone for making it the awesome trip that it was, now let's have a little pray that Marcus treats us to the same next year XXXXXXXXXXXX -

I can recommend Jody at J.A. Kits & Customs: https://maps.app.goo.gl/7FVZ7tX3Bi9baPCv8 He's a Westfield owner himself 👍 -

Its a numbers things unfortunately selling one maybe two every 12 months just doesnt warrant the time costs and hours to make the tooling -

Marks tooling is in no way any good for me due to me making all my parts from prepreg and i use an autoclave which i dont wont to bore you with the details . Keep your eye open for a fw rear diffuser😉
-
@Rednop1 that's a shame, they look great. Any chance you might be able to pick up and of Mark's tooling if he's stopped for good? FW diffuser in carbon is also now hard to find!
-
@Peter (Monty) I was making fw stoneguards and the quality of my tooling and finished products was really nice if i do say so myself just look at the attached picture but in a moment of madness i sold the tooling which was a mistake !! I must have been asked by atleast 5 different people about these last week so i'm notsure if the person i sold the tooling too is making any 🤔

Started off as a little run out to drop some parts off at a mates in Dudley & ended 6 hrs later after 2 x patrol visits before arguing with AA to get a recovery home. Finally saw my point of view back home at 2:30am this morning. More details of my continued pain in Tech Talk under SEight major oil leek.
