    What the postie brought today!

Yep, I really rate Opie, especially for oil advice. On this occasion though eBay workd out a better deal for mine.

    What the postie brought today!

I saw the Nanodrive one but I've used the normal CFS before and I got a great deal from Opie with a free litre

New Stoneleigh Show 2026- The Replica and self build Festival

Is WSCC attending the Replica & Self Build show in an official capacity? I notice that they're doing deals on group bookings, although entry is pretty cheap anyhow (and even cheaper if you display). Also saw that Westfield Chesil are listed as an exhibitor, so looks like the factory are supporting.

New Stoneleigh Show 2026- The Replica and self build Festival

Interesting, I did wonder if it would be free entry for kits. Not surprised it's not. Though they're not exactly expensive. Not sure how the camping will work, though given the fee is for up to 6 people per pitch.

Not the best picture, sorry, but gives you an idea. He had the clamps lying around and I think he plans some improvements over the winter.

    Westfield Wind Deflectors

That is very sound and timely advice, thank you. Itโ€™s probably too late now, but there seems to be a company on eBay that makes custom wind deflectors. They could probably use your existing ones as templates and reuse the fixing hardware. Potentially cheaper than buying the whole thing again?

    Exploring Car Handling Limits

So why in the past has it worked and now not I wonder? All I'm doing is copying the share link from YouTube, no different than I've always done.

    Westfield Wind Deflectors

Word of warning. Don't do what ive just done and used tar and glue remover on them to clean up the residue left behind by the sticky foam. It reacted badly with the perspex, causing cracks and fractures in them. In the bin now ๐Ÿ˜ก

Black Westfield ZK/FW Sidescreens / Sidedoors

I've asked for pictures, but in the meantime, he used 2 roll cage clamps per side and drilled them to accept the screen hinge pins. He also runs a windscreen and wind deflectors, with cover the gap between the screen and cage. As you know we do long runs up here and he found this set up the most comfortable. He also has a half hood for the Scottish weather. Best part is that if the weather is good he can quickly remove the screens, fold them in half and tuck them between the seat backs and cage.
