I ended up going to this last weekend and it turned out to be a pretty good event. Due to the theme previous years being Historic and now Retro the Westfield possibly wasn't the most suitable car to take along. It was too late to arrange anything much and initially I'd hoped to enter as part of the Thruxton car club. It turned out for now this was just a way to get more cars in to display but didn't get much interest. I did spot that Retro Rides were trying to get some cars along to take part at the last minute and took the Westfield and my daily Volvo 940. I didn't fancy sitting in sun all day and didn't really want the Westfield getting drenched so taking the Volvo meant I could also bring my pop up shelter, lots of drinks etc.

Just had an update on our stand position at this years show, centre stage on a nice flat field, and i can say it is going to be GREAT! and they have grouped all the kit related clubs together which i also like. Can't wait. Still time to get tickets if you want to come along 👍 Please let me know on here or pm or if you are on the East Anglia WhatsApp... I will add you to the list... Kimbolton 2025.pdf -

CleaR Motorsport Curborough Sprint-Track-tuition day
joolz replied to Maurici- CleaR Motorsport's topic in CleaR Motorsport
I was thinking of hiring Curborough for a half day for myself but could join this if numbers are low and you need more cars to make it viable. Date dependant of course .. we have lots planned already over the next 3 to 4 months -

Fair! My car is electric blue but I don't have any offcuts. I think @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman might have, when he reworked his scuttle bulkhead. That was a while ago though... -

If you don't have existing parts to colour match it with, surely you have more freedom to choose whatever shade of blue you like the most? -
Has anyone got any fibre glass off cuts of electric blue? I’m looking to paint my car that colour and want to get a colour match…

Is that the same colour as your car @Mat Jackson 1975? If so you can get it scanned. Many paint suppliers can do that and give you either an exact match from the paint database or the closest to it. I used The Car Paint Warehouse nearest to me. I'm sure you know all this though... https://www.carpaintwarehouse.co.uk/colour-matching -
Have you lost a car @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO? Weren't there 4 of you previously?
