Martin Bell - (Bellyboy) East Anglia AO posted a topic in Places to Visit and Road Trips
The Plan! Start June 3rd Nearly 1300 miles. 18 days, 17 overnight stays in order to catch the elusive haggis. Me in my westie and Jon in his Locost seven will undertake the drive from the flat fens in East Anglia and head to the Eastern side of the nc500. We will then head west and back down through the pennines and back home. UPDATE 17 individual hotels or b&bs booked. Must be mad lol -

It looked pretty impressive/scary up there. Fine if you don't have to commute i suppose. Not a single flake do here in Lanarkshire π€·ββοΈ -
I assume this is no longer available and the OP has not replied on here or to a text message that Iβve sent them ππ»

Devon & Somerset meet - 28th January @ 19.30
Stuart Davis - Devon Cornwall & Somerset AO posted a topic in Local Area Meets, Events & Kit Car Shows
Just to highlight that this meet is on 28th Jan, not 22nd as is listed in the Events Calendar. I will work with Scott to delete the incorrect entries and get them updated, but it will be fourth Wednesday of the month at 19.30 moving forward. Thanks, and apologies for any confusion caused. Stu -

The doors with this Westy Iβm refurbing were very tired looking with tatty edges and faded cloth, the windows wears quite badly scratched in places, anyway I did some repairs using βShoe glueβ. I've fitted some edging and gave them a really good clean, sprayed the material with autoglym spray dye, and then polished the windows with head light restorer and a sponge buffing pad. quite pleased with the result. -
Welcome to the group, great looking car, when I bought mine I was lucky enough to chase the bad weather all the way home and didnβt get rain till the last 10min of a 3.5hr journey, at least you have a roof and screen lol as everyone above just choose the right clothes and you will be fine

Have a great day @Tezvr6 πΊπ -
Congrat's on the car which looks really smart.... I was told that rain on the day you pick the car up is mandatory.... and stands you in good stead for a future of open top driving where the Met Office becomes your top visited web-site... good luck with the drive and stay safe...

Take it easy with those T1R tyres ifit rains Change them at your earliest convenience. I suggest Rainsports or Accelera for all round road tyres.
