You can't have too much orange!

blog-0340638001368989561.jpgHi All. It is a matter of taste, but as I decided not to go for a full rebuild of the engine I thought I might as well dress it up a bit. So having 2 weeks holiday planned I took some bits down to the local powder coater and specified ORANGE. Results as in the above picture - not too bad, but as I say a matter of taste.

New 3 piece clutch fitted and gearbox ready to be mated and then in it goes - simples :)

Other work completed - rebuilt and fitted front calipers, new drilled and grooved discs and greenstuff pads all round,

Spent a great day at Stoneleigh Kit car show and met with a couple of like minded Mazda SDV owners - perfect weather - hopefully I will be there next year... :t-up: Came back with plenty of ideas and 1 dilemma - Mazda dash or flat dash with aftermarket dials? Took loads of photos, but still undecided - flat dash slightly ahead, but plenty of time to decide.

Catch you soon. Take care.

Jon

Not my colours, but it looks great.

Nice work

I went flat dash and have not regretted it

You might find you have to cut a notch in that inlet manifold bracket to avoid interference with the steering column. I think those colours will work great against the black of the chassis.

Oh, dashes should be flat, digital and carbon ;)
