While the sun was shining

Not a bad day weather wise yesterday so I took the opportunity to get the covers off and have a good rummage round the wiring and start to refit things. All went well and I have now completed my mock dash.

The whole I've cut for the Koso, whilst not perfect and by no means measured with any accuracy is just shy of the real size and shape so at a push and a slight angle, it will pass straight through. I've done this deliberately as I have then added a run of edging - the idea is that I can now press the Koso in from behind and it will find it's own fitting/seal in the hole.

I'm still not sure how to attach the Koso to the dash, for now I'm going to use Velcro Tape.

This whole exercise is just a dummy/draft, I already know I need to move the switches or at least remove the two holes directly below the Koso (looks good on paper but actually the pins hit the rail behind the dash) and I may play around a little more before I'm happy and can move onto the new dash proper.

So if the weather clears up today, I'll get everything fitted on the car...

Thanks. Once it warms up a bit I'll get it all fitted and tested and then consider cutting the new dash blank !
