Which war first?

So Iran (with a nuclear program) has just tested a 2000 km range missile capable of not only hitting  fellow NATO member Turkey but also UK bases in Cyprus.

When it was claimed (wrongly with a dodgy dossier) that Saddam Hussein had WMD it was necessary to go to war in Iraq.

So the question now is who's first? NK or Iran?

The world's a bit f***** up at the minute it's only a matter of time before something kicks off big time. With Kim and the Iranians playing with nukes, the Donald in charge of one of the superpowers, Boat loads of refugees dying in the med, Putin in Ukraine, ISIS blowing up innocent people all over the shop and closer to home we have the hapless Boris and Doris (may) in charge of screwing up brexit.

Messed up times we live in.

I was more scarier in the 1950 s & 1960 s during the Cold War, especially when most of thought we would all die the next day in the Cuban Missile Crisis.   Luckily the USSR backed down at the last minute.       These latest episodes of tit for tat are really insignificant compared then.

To my mind it is years of weakness that has led us here, that and wanting to dictate what happens in other countries. Iraq was better with Saddam, Iran was better with the Shah, Libya better with Gadhafi.

We sold them arms and what hold we had has now past. I hope China will act with NK and the fear of Israel who already have nuclear weapons and would use them if attacked will keep Iran sane.

in any nuclear conflict not involving Russia or China the US will win but we will all lose out so hopefully sense will prevail
