Homologation

Hi to every body,

Not sure if am on the right place for this thread, but looking for info as far as participating

to a local hill climb race (Greece) which last  year it was 'OK" to race but tires weren't here on time

so it didn't happen...This year they announced me that i cant race as the car is FSR (Formula Saloon. R)

and can only been raced only in circuit racing. The above category is for racing cars and not for production cars.

Looks like the FSR is like Mod prod category you guys have. So westfields are not homologated or its our racing club rules, which i believe are taken from the blue book.Any info would really appreciated.

Didn't let me race the hillclimb we had this weekend as they mention the side impact on the side street barriers safety..the car has full cage b6f seat.now I don't know if the will make me fit an extra side bar in the future in order to be able to let me race.what category will the car will be if it was in the UK? It's a high power LET engine so like mod prod category? If you could point me wich paragraph in the blue book in order to point them what safety prosidures has to go through...thanks in advance

Hi, it sounds as if they are making their own rules up. Your car would normally run under section S of the blue book. As a modified specialist car. Which is S12. For this the most u out would need in the UK is a c as cage which you have. It sounds as if you need to be talking well before an event in order to get an entry. Find a sympathetic scrutineer?

Οκ...the answer is just for ur info..unless double barriers are fitted on all uphill street's that are used for the race's,we won't be able to race.they put us on the formula type car's as far as the height they have in order we don't pass underneath the barrier on an accident which I doubt it can happen due the cage.so i/we only be able to race on cirquit/track races for now and who knows for how long...
