Speed Series 2016 Regs - When ?

Nick Algar - Competition Secretary

As you are all aware this year is probably the most difficult one that I have know since doing this job 8 years ago. Mainly due to the change in MSA regs on tyres.

The Speed Series Organising Team SSOT have been discussing the 2016 regs at length and trying to decide what we do about these changes. It's a very difficult job and it has become obvious that whatever we do we cannot please all of the people. We still have work to do to decide the way forward for the Speed Series, not only for this year but also future years. The SSOT will meet on this sunday morning to continue making progress.

We are aware that a lot of you want to know so you can plan ahead, so for that reason we anticipate having some draft regulations ready for the weekend of 21/22nd November 2015.

Could I please ask you not to bother the guys at the Awards Evening it's a celebration of everyone's achievements in 2015, lets enjoy it as such.

Ahem *cough* - not that I'm impatient for the regs or anything!
