Kids that know it all......

Went out for a quiet putter this evening..... there I was, sat on the left door sill quietly munching my fish and chips when a little lad of about 7 maybe 8 with mum and dad in tow saunters up and says "Told ya Dad, it's not a Seven Superlight...... it's one of them daft Westfields with a motorbike engine"

Well his parents looked like they were looking for a suitable hole to swallow them up...... so I saved them...... I started the ASBO up and asked if he's ever heard a 4 litre V8 before, then mentioned to his parents that it's perfectly acceptable to eat your young...... animals do it all the time......

His dad just grinned and dragged the little gem back to the chippy......

The "eat your young" line was sheer class..!

You could have also pointed out that because you didn't waste your money on an over priced Caterham, you can actually afford the chips for your tea...

A+ for knowing it wasn't a cateringvan and to be fair the bike engined ones do use the v8 bonnet.

TBH, you'll find a lot of people haven't a clue, someone I worked with had a chat a few weeks ago......

Him "is it a real one?"

Me "A real what?"

Him "Well it's got the stickers, but is it a real Westfield or one of those silly kitcar things?"

Me "It's a Westfield, but......."

At this point I figured it was going to get VERY complicated.

I think he was confusing Westfield with Caterham and naturally assumed that it was trying to look like whatever the sticker said.
