Greetings!!

Today is a good day, it's the day I finally get my finger out and start work on my Mega S2000 build!

The starter kit has been sat in my garage since 10th April. I have been waiting for some shortages which finally arrived and I didn't want to start it until I had all the bits.

Progress was pretty slow and all i achieved was drilling off the tunnel side panels and fitting one of them.

I hope to keep momentum going and I will endeavour to keep this blog current with the build as it progresses.

note: This is also my first blog so I apologise in advance if its pants :p

In all honesty - I'd recommend moving this to a build thread in the 'tech talk' section of the forum. The blogs don't tend to get followed quite as much (in my experience) but build threads do!

You'll get a load more feedback and helpful pointers that way.

Your call though - and either way enjoy the build, I loved doing mine and was out in it properly for the first time yesterday!

Sorry, only just found this - as Chris said, you'll get more traffic in tech talk, don't worry, you can post in much the same way.

One thing I would say - it's much easier to drill for and fit all the cable tie saddles for the loom etc without the aluminium panels in palace - especially those that run down the tunnel.

Cheers Dave,

Turns out I was working  to an old manual which suggested fitting the tunnel panels first - my bad I have should realised it was a silly idea to do them first!

I'll migrate the build over to the tech talk too.

Thanks.
