alexander72 Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 if it's Cupressus (leylandii) beware of tar build up in flue and chimney - it condenses as it goes up the chimney liquifies. Only burn when mixed with other hardwoods.... Cedrus burns ok (cedar) and Lawsonia isnt too bad but all soft woods are high in phenol and tar - it's where cuprinol comes form.......
