if it's Cupressus (leylandii) beware of tar build up in flue and chimney - it condenses as it goes up the chimney liquifies. Only burn when mixed with other hardwoods.... Cedrus burns ok (cedar) and Lawsonia isnt too bad but all soft woods are high in phenol and tar - it's where cuprinol comes form....... James

It is Laylandii, needs a good year seasoning. I'll be chopping mine up and stacking it in the back of the shed. Can't complain for free.
